Avid Filipino television and movie buffs are now having the convenience of catching up to everything that they want to watch on their computers and mobile devices, and it is all thanks to the likes of Netflix, HOOQ, iflix and Viu. Now, a new video streaming service has arrived in the Philippines that will give on-the-go viewers more choices for their own entertainment pleasure, and its name is Fox+.

The streaming service from Fox Networks Group Philippines offers more than 11,000 hours of high-definition content straight from the network's sleuth of movie and general entertainment channels. Users can stream past and current episodes of their favorite TV series on their devices, get the latest movies soon after their theatrical release, and watch live sporting events as they happen. With that in mind, there are reasons why Filipinos should love the service. However, there is one particular reason why you should consider hating it as well.

For me, the best thing about Fox+ is that you can download episodes of your favorite TV shows and even your favorite movies for offline viewing. Seriously, this is what I like about streaming services available in the Philippines today. Then, why should you consider not recommending Fox+? Simple, if you are a Smart subscriber, then you need to pay a monthly subscription fee of Php390 to enjoy the service after a 30-day free trial. Otherwise, you need to be a PLDT Home or Cignal postpaid subscriber to get your dose of Fox+ for free.

Fox Networks Group Philippines is still working on expanding the service to other networks since it is only for Smart, PLDT Home and Cignal subscribers.
