Why Premier Volleyball League Becomes an Instant Hit

The new chapter of the country's longest-running commercial volleyball league may have some rough patches at start, but it has brought excitement and delight which instantly makes the Premier Volleyball League an instant hit among local volleyball fans, sports enthusiasts, television viewers, and even the online world as well. The teams participating in the new era have never failed to give fans and supporters amazing performances and entertaining matches where many of them are decided on the fifth set.

I am curious on how the Premier Volleyball League has managed to gain ground in such a short matter of time and despite having some slight controversies regarding its imports, but ABS-CBN Sports will give you six reasons why #PVLonABSCBN remains on fire until today.

1. Fan Favorites

Some of the finest and most popular volleyball players formerly known for their stints at NCAA and UAAP are there including Philippine volleyball phenom Alyssa Valdez, former NCAA women's volleyball season MVP Gretchen Soltones, athlete-slash-mom Fille Cainglet-Cayetano, and so much more.

Since the first conference of the season only has six teams, then you may have enjoyed the first round of action filled with double round robin elimination matches. As of this writing, the Reinforced Conference is nearing its peak as the semifinals officially began with Balipure Water Defenders and Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors drawing first blood with a 1-0 lead against the Creamline Cool Defenders and Laoag Power Smashers, respectively. Those who have missed the intense volleyball action may still catch up to the All-Filipino Cup followed by the Collegiate Conference and culminated with an All-Star Sunday just for your pleasure.

4. Live Streaming R'Us

Prior to the start of the new season, ABS-CBN Sports introduced a new innovation where anyone can watch the matches from any angle of their choosing, and this is the multi-camera live streaming feature which can be found on either the live stream websites of ABS-CBN Sports or the PVL's official website.

5. It's Better to Watch Live
