Torque Mobile recently launched its new line of budget-friendly Android smartphones and tablet computers after almost a year or two of long dormancy in the Philippine market. But that is just the beginning of the brand's new direction as it also announced its partnership with Smart Communications, online shopping portal One2Shop, and local logistics honcho Air21 which aims to strengthen its commitment to bring the brand closer to tech-savvy Filipino consumers.

Anyway, let's start with Torque's new social boosters, namely: the EGO Note 4G (Php4,599), the EGO Note 3G (Php3,799), and the EGO Zoom Lite (Php3,999). Both smartphones are powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card, sport an HD IPS capacitive multitouch display, and run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS except the EGO Note 3G which has the Marshmallow running out of the box. In terms of other specs and features, the EGO Note 3G may have the smallest screen size compared to the other two by just 0.5 inches while the EGO Zoom Lite has 13 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel front cameras but the EGO Note 4G has an LED flash on both of its cameras. This will make you think longer on which of these two are you going to consider purchase.

Meanwhile, Torque also introduced its new tablet computers, the EGO Phab 3G+ (Php3,099) and the EGO Tab WiFi (Php2,599) which are both packed with a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card. But the EGO Phab 3G+ sport a 7-inch HD IPS display, 5 megapixel rear + 2 megapixel front cameras, dual SIM slots and 3G HSPA+ connectivity while the EGO Tab WiFi is just a typical underwhelming Android tablet PC with a 7-inch display and 2 megapixel rear and front cameras,.

These mobile marvels are available in physical and online stores. But, those who consider purchasing any of the three new Torque EGO smartphones via One2Shop may receive discount vouchers which will be used until August 31, 2017. On the other hand, customers having issues with their Torque devices may use TORQUE Express where they can contact the brand's customer care team via e-mail, call or text. A representative will then provide a reference number and eventually recommend the nearest Air21 branch where they can drop off the device for repair. After fixing the device, Air21 will directly deliver the units to the customer's doorstep without any problems. Overall, this new direction and a new lineup of mobile marvels will surely bring Torque back on track, hopefully.
