The
Wanderland Music and Arts Festival has always been a spectacle for many
Filipino music lovers, bringing some of the best in the independent music scene
to our local shores. And this year would be no exception as it promises a whole
day of fun and excitement with exciting talents from the music and the arts as
the annual event proudly presents its newest installment, Wanderland Pixels.
Irish
band Kodaline and Grammy-nominated Jhene Aiko are set to co-headline this
year's festivities and delight music and arts-loving audiences with their own
style of music. Kodaline will woo and break hearts in the Wanderland stage with
songs like "All I Want" and "Brother", while Aiko takes the
stage with her sultry musical stylings through her songs such as "While We're
Young" and "Sativa".
Some
of the other acts slated to perform and grace the stage will include the smooth
and mellow sounds of Paris-based FKJ; the danceable beats of "shooting
stars" from the Land Down Under, The Bag Raiders; Daniel Ceasar's eclectic
mix of pop, soul and ambient music; and Lauv's romantic vocal stylings combined
with electronic synth. Meanwhile, the Wanderland stage will not be complete without
our own performers, and gracing the fest this year are IV of Spades,
Ben&Ben, Quest and the returning Jess Connelly.
But
that's not all, folks!! Basically Saturday Night and Carousel Casualties are
giving audiences their own delight and pleasure with beats that would surely
immense and indulge to their groove. Don't forget Wanderartist players,
Christian Cardenas, Sam Bumanlag, JP Pining and Humbly setting to strut their
own in the festival plus more surprises to come as you roam around the
festivities.
