ABS-CBN’s Star Creatives transforms Puerto Galera into the immersive setting of “The Secrets Of Hotel 88” on GMA, bringing the series’ mystery and romance to life against the destination’s scenic backdrop. The cast notes how Star Creatives turned Puerto Galera into a living set that brings every scene of “The Secrets Of Hotel 88” to life. Mika Salamanca shares, “Sobrang ganda ng Puerto Galera at sobrang fit sa kwento — napadali nilang ma-bring to life yung Hotel 88.” AZ Martinez adds, “Nandito lahat ng kailangan — gubat, dagat, resorts. Pinakita talaga ng production team kung paano magagamit ang location para sa kwento.” Xyriel Manabat also notes, “Bukod sa sikreto ng Hotel 88, naipakita din nila ang hidden gems ng Puerto Galera at napaganda ng setting ang kwento.” As the story unfolds, the clash between the Fernandez and Almazan families intensifies, unearthing long-buried secrets that deepen the mystery and raise the stakes with each episode.

ABS-CBN’s Limited Series “The Silent Noise” Makes Strong Debut On Prime Video PH, Sets Stage For Global Release

ABS-CBN continues its global storytelling momentum as its 10-episode mystery-thriller limited series “The Silent Noise” draws solid viewership exclusively on Prime Video Philippines following its platform launch ahead of its planned international release. ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer Cory V. Vidanes underscored the significance of the milestone as the company prepares to bring the series to a wider audience, stating, “The early response to ‘The Silent Noise’ is very encouraging as we prepare to bring it to a global audience. This reflects our continuing commitment to elevate Filipino stories and engage with viewers around the world through compelling, relevant, and meaningful narratives.” 

“The Silent Noise” is ABS-CBN’s first Filipino limited series slated for global release with versions in multiple languages in development to reach audiences worldwide. The series follows a family whose lives are disrupted by the mysterious death of the deaf child’s teacher — unraveling secrets, buried truths, and emotional tensions that test the limits of trust and understanding. ABS-CBN creative head Tanya Bautista said the series was crafted with both local and global audiences in mind. She shared, “We wanted to tell a story that feels fresh yet deeply human, something that keeps viewers engaged, but also resonates emotionally no matter where they’re watching from.” 

The series marks the fifth on-screen pairing of Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo alongside Zaijian Jaranilla, Mutya Orquia, and newcomer KD Omalin. The cast also includes Mylene Dizon, Joem Bascon, Karina Bautista, Tommy Alejandrino, Ramon Christopher Gutierrez, Junjun Quintana, Joel Saracho, and Kakki Teodoro. New episodes of “The Silent Noise” drop every Friday at 6:00 pm exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories including the Philippines.

iWant officially launches Cinema One live channel on its platform at the Philippine Tech Show 2026 while expanding its distribution through a partnership with Creative Programs Inc. (CPI), making the service available to cable operators nationwide. The addition of Cinema One brings a wider selection of Filipino films to the platform, including blockbuster and iconic titles, further strengthening iWant’s growing library for audiences worldwide. 

“What Lies Beneath” stars Sue Ramirez, Jake Cuenca, and JM de Guzman draw crowds at the iWant booth as they engage attendees from cable operators, telecommunications companies, content providers, technology partners, and other guests at the platform’s “Home Of Filipino Feels” showcase. The platform also previews upcoming content led by the vertical drama “The Chambermaid’s Daughter” starring Alexa Ilacad and BGYO Gelo. Alexa will also headline another original series this year, “Miss Behave”, alongside Xyriel Manabat, Reign Parani, Andi Abaya, and Rans Rifol. The coming-of-age dark comedy also features Jeremiah Lisbo, Zach CastaƱeda, Zach Guerrero, JC Alcantara, Raven Rigor, and LA Santos, and is directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal. Also in iWant’s pipeline is “Nurse The Dead”, an international supernatural comedy-drama series filmed in Hollywood and created by Mark Labella. It stars Jelynn Sophia Malone and Anthony Jennings, with Gigette Reyes, Princess Punzalan, Ruby Rodriguez, and Tootsie Guevarra. Meanwhile, “The Secrets Of Hotel 88,” a collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN, also continues to stream on iWant with episodes available seven days ahead of its television broadcast. 

iWant head Jolly Estaris says the platform is expanding its content lineup through partnerships with creators and producers, focusing on stories that resonate with Filipino audiences. Angeline Quinto Signs With ABS-CBN's One Music Management, Reunites With Star Music

Power Diva Angeline Quinto joins One Music Management, ABS-CBN Music’s talent management arm, as she returns to record label Star Music, marking a new chapter in her career with upcoming music and her 15th anniversary concert in the works. The Kapamilya singer-actress sealed the deal at a contract signing event held at ABS-CBN last March 25, 2026 with ABS-CBN Music and Integrated Events Head Roxy Liquigan; ABS-CBN Music Head of Creatives, Content, and Operations Jonathan Manalo; Star Music Label Head Andie Arellano; and Angeline's co-manager and KreativDen president and CEO Kate Valenzuela. 

Also dubbed as the Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs and the voice behind hits “Hanggang Kailan Kita Mamahalin”, “Lipad Ng Pangarap”, “Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka”, “Patuloy Ang Pangarap”, and more, Angeline shared that she is proud of the strength she has embodied through her 15 years in the industry and is also looking forward to giving inspiration to more audiences through her music. She said, “Napa-proud ako sa sarili ko anuman ang nangyari sa loob ng 15 years na yun, mas naging matibay ako, mas naging strong ako, mas naging powerful ako. Kung anuman yung nilu-look forward ko pa na para sa career ko ay yung makapagbigay pa ako ng mas malaki at maraming, maraming inspirasyon sa mga taong napanghihinaan ng loob para sa mga pinapangarap nila.” 

Apart from the concert which is set on August 22 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Angeline is set to launch more original songs and has already recorded a new theme song for an upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye. Angeline is regularly seen on “ASAP” and previously served as a panelist for “Your Face Sounds Familiar” and a judge on “Idol Kids Philippines”. She also starred in the Philippine adaptation of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim”.

“It’s Showtime”'s Dance Group Baby Dolls Releases Pulse-Pounding Debut EP “ZoomBaby Dolls”

“It’s Showtime”'s all-female dance group Baby Dolls has dropped their first extended play (EP) “ZoomBaby Dolls”, a vibrant collection of five upbeat tracks celebrating movement and self-love. The seven-member group is composed of Arianne Dela Cruz, Chole Florendo, Johaira Moris, Juby Sabino, Jelai Ahamil, Eriel Reyes, and Ina Ortega who came from “It’s Showtime” segments “Girl on Fire” and “Sexy Babe” and collectively share a passion for performing. 

Their EP now available worldwide on digital music streaming platforms under StarPop is inspired by fitness routines, daily glow-ups, and feel-good moments that aims to encourage listeners to embrace wellness and live life to the fullest. Its key track is “Ikembot Mo”, a playful song with catchy hooks depicting confidence and fun with its rhythmic chants and provocative vibe. The song was composed and produced by Christian Martinez and arranged and mixed and mastered by Albert Tamayo with StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos as supervising producer. 

Other tracks in the EP are “Clap Clap Clap Alright!”, “Kitang Kita”, “Oooh Lala Baby”, and “Dulce Tirah Tirah”. Baby Dolls is regularly seen on “It’s Showtime” dance performances and special segments.

ABS-CBN's Hit Dramas Expand To India, Streaming Soon On Amazon MX Player

ABS-CBN’s hit dramas are heading to South Asia as the premiere media and entertainment company and leading content provider in the Philippines is bringing seven of its hit dramas to India with “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay”, “2 Good 2 Be True”, “Can’t Buy Me Love”, “Senior High”, “Love In 40 Days”, “He’s Into Her”, and “He’s Into Her Season 2” set to stream on Amazon MX Player, one of the largest free streaming platforms in India, in 2026. 

The deal marks the first time Filipino dramas will be carried on Amazon MX Player, joining a lineup that includes popular Chinese, Korean, Turkish, and Thai shows. Amazon MX Player reached approximately 250 million monthly active users. The ABS-CBN dramas will be dubbed in Hindi and possibly in other Indian languages, bringing ABS-CBN’s storytelling to one of the biggest streaming markets in South Asia. Beyond India, the same package of titles has also been acquired in different Asian regions, further strengthening ABS-CBN’s growing reach across South and Southeast Asia.
