Attracting more than 205,000 admissions in 510 screens nationwide, the first solo featured film about the famed Amazonian princess-warrior has bested the opening-day gross of Disney's Beauty and the Beast which is now highly regarded as the highest-grossing movie of all time in the Philippines. The movie also has the second biggest opening day of the year next to Fast and Furious 8 which was shown on Black Saturday.

Distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, Wonder Woman is still showing in hundreds of cinemas nationwide.

Netflix Reveals "Primetime" of PH Binge-Watchers

US-based global online video-on-demand streaming service Netflix recently revealed that Filipinos begin binge-watching their favorite TV shows and movies on the service earlier than those in Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia. Based on the data released, 9:00 pm is considered as "primetime" among Filipino binge-watchers, which is quite surprising to anyone who remain keen on watching our favorite shows on television at home including myself.

According to the said data, Netflix users around the globe usually prefer watching comedy in the morning, drama throughout the afternoon, thrillers after dinner, and documentaries at late night. I'm not so sure what most Filipinos are watching every night, but these insights are quite intriguing knowing that they have the power and control to choose their own favorites to enjoy on their computers and mobile devices.
