Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) recently opened its historic 1000th
store at the heart of Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, bringing more joys
to Filipino families and millennials alike as well as setting a new outlook for
the Philippines' largest and most popular fastfood chain in the near future.
From its humble beginnings as a simple hamburger joint back in 1975,
Jollibee has grown and evolved into what it is today bringing love and joy to
every family in all corners of the country. The opening of its milestone branch
clearly shows Jollibee's perseverance and determination as a proud Filipino brand
that every customer in and out of the country love.
Located within Triangle Drive, customers may enjoy a modern, tropical-like
feel inside the two-storey Jollibee store with modernized interior design, multi-colored
furniture sets, and an interactive board for kids to boot. Those who will order
their favorite Jolly meals via drive-thru may be awed and surprised at a long
mural featuring prominent Philippine symbols with a dash of Jollibee flavor
made by young Filipino painter JP Pining. Also gracing everyone's presence at
the new Jollibee store is a video displaying a huge map of the Philippines with
Jollibee flags symbolizing all the stores where they can enjoy and eat wherever
they are in the country.
Prior to its grand opening, no less than Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo
Wurtzbach led the ribbon-cutting ceremony which was attended by longtime Jollibee
business partners from the government and private sector, Taguig City
government officials led by Mayor Lani Cayetano, and Jollibee officials headed
by the company's chairman Tony Tan Caktiong. Headlining the blessing of the new
store is the unveiling of a commemorative market featuring the list of all
Jollibee stores in the country and the year they have opened, as well as a Chickenjoy
toast and an enjoyable performance from singers Darren Espanto and Morisette Amon.
