There are two things that the Philippines should be proud of. First is that the country has been a powerhouse when it comes to beauty pageants and modeling competitions here and abroad. Second is that it is the world's largest and fastest-growing business process outsourcing (BPO) capital and a standard in the global industry generating more than 1.3 million jobs and a 17% annual growth.

But what if we put these two breakthroughs together in one unique concept or approach? Well, the answer is pretty simple because it is definitely time for the Philippines' newest unsung heroes to shine in a different scene with the staging of the first ever Mr. and Ms. BPO pageant.

Produced and presented by Royal Chimes Concerts and Events Inc., this uniquely new competition is putting the spotlight on the new breed of young men and women who make up the workforce behind one of the most progressive industries in the country in just a decade. More than just a beauty pageant, the search for the perfect BPO Ambassadors aims to promote excellence, leadership and camaraderie within the workplace as well as empower the candidates to impart the right attitude at work and the drive to help in nation building.

The search for the first Mr. and Ms. BPO has already kicked off and is open for those who are interested in the said pageant. They must be 18 to 26 years old, single, natural-born Filipino citizen or with Filipino blood ancestry, and at least 5'4" for female and 5'6" for male. They must also possess proportionate physiques, pleasing personalities and good moral character. Furthermore, they must be employees of any BPO or contact center anywhere in the Philippines.
