Fresh from its overwhelming US$5 billion worldwide box-office gross
last year, Warner Bros. is gearing up for yet another blockbuster year with its
new lineup of movies that would certainly delight audiences throughout the new year.

Among the movies lined up for 2018, Ronie The Trubist has picked up
five fresh flicks which I feel that they should be thrilling and interesting
for any movie buff to watch.
Tomb Raider
On top of my 2018 WB movie pickup list is the reboot of the popular
video game series Tomb Raider where the main character Lara Croft is now played
by Alicia Vikander. Let's just say it is like a second coming of Tomb Raider
after the successful original movie adaptation trilogy starring Angelina Jolie.
Anyway, the movie revolves around Lara on her journey to her father's last
destination before his death - an unknown island situated off the coasts of
Japan. You may know the rest of it by watching here.
Ready Player One
In a world of chaos and destruction, most people find happiness in a
virtual reality universe created by James Halliday. But when he announced
before his death that there is an easter egg that contains something that will
be given to the first person who finds it, the virtual paradise became a
battlefield of sorts for almost all who want to seek fortune and pleasure of
their own.
Ocean's 8
Have you watched Ocean's Eleven? If you are, then there is no reason
why you should not disregard Ocean's 8. This time, eight women are set out to
New York for a heist like no other. The movie would hold a powerhouse cast such
as Sandra Bullock, Helena Carter Bonham, and even Rihanna. Just watch the
trailer and see if you are ready to be thrilled.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes
of Grindenwald
Grindenwald has escaped after being caught and imprisoned by the Magical
Congress of America and is devising a new plot that will make magical creatures
take over the non-magical ones and it is up to Aldus Dumbledore's old student
to foil his plans and save the day. I would doubt if the plot has something to
do with the Harry Potter universe, but that won't matter anyway.
