More Filipino basketball fans can now enjoy and indulge the thrill of the
upcoming NBA Finals either on the comforts of their own home or even on-the-go as
NBA Philippines recently partnered with PLDT and Smart Communications in further
bringing world-class basketball action closer to the Filipino masses. Through
the newly-forged partnership, PLDT Home subscribers can now have
worry-free access to everything NBA via a monthly subscription to the NBA
League Pass streaming service.
But that's not all. Even Smart prepaid and postpaid subscribers can also enjoy what
is going on with their favorite NBA teams by availing of a 24-hour subscription
to the online streaming service for only Php50. All they need to do is to text NBA50 to 9999 on their mobile devices and you may start your own NBA indulgence at your own pace and time. Mobile and broadband users can
also catch-up on NBA highlights, game recaps and daily top plays through the official websites
of PLDT Home and Smart 360.
Also available for Globe and Sky subscribers, the NBA League Pass
provides an all-access pass to everything around the league and allow users to
watch the games live on their computers in either standard or high definition
quality. The League Pass has also included an interesting feature called the
Mobile View where live broadcast of games and on-demand streaming are optimized
for mobile devices. NBA Philippines, headed by its managing director Carlo
Singson, is hopeful that the new partnership would further broaden the league's
reach to more Filipinos considering that basketball is the most popular sport
in the country today.
