Blackwater Elite and NLEX Road Warriors, two of the ten teams competing in the Philippine Basketball
Association (PBA), is set to compete in Macau in just a few weeks against some of
the finest and most competitive teams across Asia as one of the participants in
Asia League's Summer Super Eight tournament which is slated to take place on
July 17-22, 2018 at the Macao East Asian Games Dome.
Recognized and sanctioned by no less than FIBA, the Summer Super Eight tournament
provides a new platform to develop fresh local Asian talents and establishes a
regional forum for professionals and players across Asia-Pacific basketball to
come together and enjoy top-grade competition and game experience. Aside from
the tournament proper, the five-day long event will include a coaches' clinic
and the FIBA Elite Referees Development Camp which contribute to raising the
standards and professionalism of basketball throughout the region.
