The Pista Ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP), the flagship project of the
Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), is set to stage an
interactive and one-of-a-kind experience where you with your family and friends
can spend and enjoy a memorable time with some of your favorite stars and the
biggest names in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Slated to be held on August 31, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center in
Pasay City from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, the PPP3 Grand FanCon will be packed with
various activities and stage performances that will run through the whole day
including the live music performances of artists singing the theme songs of PPP
2019's official entries, with the entire venue being filled with interactive
booths and mockup sets of PPP 2019 entries allowing fans to immerse into the
world of the films and their characters. Activities will include various talks,
makeup tutorials, meet-and-greet, Q&A and even karaoke singing sessions to
boot.
The star-studded affair will feature the stars of the PPP 2019 films
topbilled by the following: Sue Ramirez and RK Bagatsing of "Cuddle Weather"
by Rod Marmol; Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos and Ben&Ben of LSS (Last Song
Syndrome) by Jade Castro; Paolo Ballesteros, Christian Bables and Martin Del
Rosario of "The Panti Sisters" by Jun Robles Lana; McCoy De Leon, Jameson
Blake, Paulo Angeles and Mark Oblea of "G!" by Dondon Santos; Maris Racal
and Iñigo Pascual of "I'm Ellenya L." by Boy2 Quizon; JC Santos and
Arci Muñoz of "Open" by Andoy Ranay; Jean Garcia, Jay Manalo and introducing
Junyka Santarin on "Watch Me Kill" by Tyrone Acierto; Anita Linda,
Gina Alajar, Laurice Guillen, Jaclyn Jose, Elizabeth Oropesa, Ricky Davao and Enchong
Dee of "Circa" by Adolfo Alix Jr.; Angie Ferro, Yves Flores, Merryl
Soriano and Maria Isabel Lopez of "Lola Igna" by Eduardo Roy Jr.; and
Gloria Sevilla, Vince Ranillo, Suzette Ranillo and Alora Sasam of
"Pagbalik" by Hubert Tibi and Maria Ranillo.
Fans will also have a chance to win and take home exclusive freebies
and merchandise from the official PPP 2019 entries as well as take part in
exciting games and enjoy special performances by surprise guest artists.
Furthermore, the first 100 attendees who are able to complete all the
activities in the affair will receive festival passes where it allows them to
watch all the official PPP 2019 entries. Up to five hundred of these passes
will also be at stake when you win in bingo, hourly raffles and other fun
activities in the fancon.
With the theme "Pamilya, Pagkakaibigan, Pag-Ibig", the third
season of the Pista Ng Pelikulang Pilipino will be a week-long celebration
headlined by the exclusive screening of quality and diversive Filipino films on
September 13-19, 2019 in all cinemas nationwide. The PPP 2019 is slated to be
the grand kickoff for the celebration of Philippine cinema's 100th year
anniversary dubbed Sandaan. Anyway, the admission fee for the PPP3 Grand Fancon
is Php99 only which will provide all-day access to the event's simultaneous
activities and a chance to win PPP festival passes, freebies and merchandise.

The PPP3 Grand Fancon is co-presented by the Film Development Council
of the Philippines (FDCP) and FrontRow Entertainment in partnership with the
Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP). The event is sponsored
