"Pictures speak a thousand words." This has been an old
saying which has been deep inside our hearts for many years and we seem to
understand its meaning through the many pictures we have seen on television,
print and online. These photos are simply a reflection of what we see and what
we want to explore such as our dream destinations. That was much said at the
Rich Batangas Photo Exhibit held last November 18-20, 2019 at the SM City Lipa
Events Center.
Shoppers, mall goers, students, government employees, spectators and
enthusiasts were awed and amazed by the different destinations and moments in the
province of Batangas remarkably and wonderfully told through photos. In fact,
these photos showcased at the exhibit were the official entries of the recently
concluded Rich Batangas Photo Contest organized by the Batangas Provincial
Tourism, Culture and Arts Office (Batangas PTCAO). These entries have displayed
and interpreted BatangueƱo fun, food and faith which arguably makes the province
one to visit, chill, hang out and mesmerize.

On the first day of the photo exhibit, a total of 77 photos from
amateur and professional photographers and students in and out of the province
were being judged by a handful of prestigious luminaries including Batangas Culture
and Arts Council Vice Chairman and TV5 Network Inc. Assistant VP for Media
Research Mary Joanne "Chiqui" TriviƱo, renouned wedding and portrait
photographer Elmer Castor and First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities
(FAITH) Senior Multimedia Specialist Dexter Balita. Gracing the said occasion
were Batangas Tourism Council President Sonny Lozano, Lipa City Tourism Council
President Beth Lozano and Lipa City Mayor Eric Africa.
With that being said and after deliberations, here are the winners of
