Following the release of the Honor 9X a few months ago, Honor Philippines has officially released the Honor 20 Lite to jumpstart the new year. On the other hand, Huawei kicked off 2020 with the release of its first midrange mobile marvel, the Y9s, while Cherry Mobile did it differently with the Flare Tab Pro which is arguably the first Android-operated phablet to become available in the local market after a long period of absence and dormancy.

On the first edition of On The Market, I will personally guide you to how these three devices can fare well in the Philippine mobile market in terms of specifications and price tags. Of course, they are available in any authorized dealer/reseller nationwide and online shopping platforms such as Lazada and Shopee so I'll let you pick a poison in this first outing.

Expect more mobile devices available in the Philippines to be featured in the next editions of On The Market in the coming months and eventually in the foreseeable future. For now, these would certainly be what you need to purchase at the start of the new year depending on your own budget. In any case, it might be what this section is all about. Who knows?
