These two leagues will feature two seasons and have regional legs in four Southeast Asian countries namely Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. In support of these regional legs for the forthcoming professional gaming spectacles, Singtel partnered with other telcos across the region including Thailand's AIS, Globe Telecom from the Philippines and Indonesia's Telkomsei. Through these leagues, Singtel and its partners are aiming to provide amateur gamers a platform where they can develop and showcase their skills and prowess.
The 2020 PVP eSports Corporate and Campus Championships will run for two seasons this year with Season 1 happening from March to April while Season 2 is set for August to November. Participating gamers will compete for a combined regional prize pool of SGD100,000 (around Php3.7 million), which may arguably be the largest prize pool of any community tournament globally. Season 1 of these championships will feature Mobile Legends Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile and DOTA 2; however, MLBB will be the only game featured in the Philippines. Aside from the cash prizes, the top teams and players from each leg in the said season will represent their respective countries in the PVP eSports Grand Finals which will happen on July 2020 at the Indonesia Games Championship, the largest gaming event in Indonesia.
