Rules Of Survival Brings Filipino Superheroes To The Fray

Rules Of Survival (ROS), the prevalent Battle Royale PC game developed by Netease, has teamed up with the Philippines' Ravelo Komiks Universe (RKU) in bringing three of its most popular characters - Darna, Captain Barbell, Lastikman - into the game. The two-week licensed mobile game collaboration event was launched simultaneously last May 26 in the Philippines and Cambodia.
Throughout the collaborative affair, ROS players were able to claim iconic costumes of the three RKU superheroes as well as draw themed items and emoji for free from playing lottery events after completing several missions in a specific training manual. The collaboration between the two universes also featured more exclusives such as a themed sports car, a wingman and powerful weapons from the Filipino superheroes and a brand new interaction mode where players can seek supplementary skills associated with the superheroes' extraordinary powers across different parts of Ghillie Island.
ROS is a free-to-play, online multiplayer battle royale game first released in November 2017. By October 2018, the game has registered more than 230 million players worldwide. On the other hand, ABS-CBN's Ravelo Komiks Universe brings well-loved Filipino superheroes back to life featuring the creations of the legendary Filipino comics writer, the late Mars Ravelo.
