Andrea Torres, Kylie Padilla Star In WeTV's Original LGBT-Themed RomCom BetCin

WeTV takes romantic comedy to the next level by bringing on the sexy with its new original production BetCin. The LGBT-themed series slated to premiere soon is the streamer's first GL (Girls' Love) story with Andrea Torres and Kylie Padilla taking on the titular roles of Beth and Cindy, hosts of the popular online show "BetCin" who also happen to be at the tail end of a rocky relationship.
As the two prepare to say goodbye to their show and loyal followers, they get invited to join a contest for the most-loved social media sweethearts. The catch is that they have to stay together and be convincing enough to have a huge shot at the grand cash prize at the end. Beth sees it as a means to start over with a new partner while Cindy sees it as a way to win Beth back. Will they be able to pull it off and will love win eventually in the end? The eight-episode series is written and directed by Shugo Praico, who was part of Rein Entertainment Productions which line produced the WeTV Original Series Section St. Valentine: The Disappearance Of Divine.

Moonton Bares M3 MLBB World Championship, MLBB Animated Series

Moonton Games, publisher and developer of the hit mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB), announces that it will be hosting the M3 MLBB World Championship which is slated to take place in an offline venue on December. With more details yet to be disclosed, teams from different parts of the globe will compete for a chance to become the best MLBB squad in the world and these will be determined through Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) events in Southeast Asia and Brazil.
The M3 MLBB World Championship will be the third MLBB eSports tournament throughout 2021 amidst the continuing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic following the M2 MLBB World Championship and the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup where Filipino squads Bren eSports and Execration reign supreme, respectively. Meanwhile, a new date for the start of the eighth season of the Mobile Legends Professional League - Philippines is yet to be disclosed due to the imposed Enhanced Community Quarantine (NCR) restrictions in Metro Manila. MPL-PH is the second MLBB eSports league after Indonesia to make the shift to becoming a franchised league.

On the other hand, Moonton has also announced a MLBB animated series entitled "Legends of Dawn: The Sacred Stone" which is set to premiere on Fall 2021. The series will feature a lighthearted and comedic feel and revolve some of the game's favorite and well-loved heroes embarking on a journey to the Imperial Capital in search for the Sacred Stone. The series will be streamed online on Tencent Video's international video streaming platform WeTV and slated to be aired via 9TV in Malaysia, Net Media in Indonesia, and ABS-CBN in the Philippines.

NCCA's Sentro Rizal Bares Tularawan Digital Art Contest

In celebration of the 160th birth anniversary of Philippine national hero Dr. Jose Rizal, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Sentro Rizal launched "Rizal @ 160 Tularawan", a digital art contest for overseas Filipino youth where they will draw inspiration from Rizal's poems. The said competition can be highly regarded as a chance for talented and aspiring Filipino artists to show how competent and talented they are even within the safe comforts of their own home.
Open to all Overseas Filipinos (residing outside the Philippines) ages 18 to 35 years old, participants shall choose one of the national hero's works that will be the source of inspiration for their digital artwork. Some of these poems include "Mi Ultimo Adios", "Kundiman", "A La Juventud Filipina", "Canto De Maria Clara", "Goodbye To Leonor", "Mi Retiro", "El Canto Del Viajero", "Me Piden Versos" and "El Agua y El Fuego". These must be created digitally and presented in various formats of stand-alone digital art image such as, but not limited to, the following: graphic poster, web comic, fractal art, data-moshing, dynamic painting, 2D computer graphics, 3D computer graphics, pixel art, digital photography, photo-painting, manual vector drawing, integrated art, raster painting, and computer-generated painting.
Each participant must submit only one entry through the Sentro Rizal website until October 31, 2021 at 11:59 pm (Philippine standard time). Late entries as indicated on the electronic time stamp will not be accepted. Those behind the top five entries will receive winners' certificates and cash prizes ranging from Php10,000 to Php50,000.
