Two of the leading giants in the Philippine film and television production - GMA Network and Regal Entertainment - has put their biggest and most exciting collaboration deal into full gear following the monumental virtual signing of the two companies last September 7 and kicking off the said collaboration is the weekly telemovie anthology "Regal Studio Presents" premiered on September 11 with positive reception from viewers and netizens and high ratings featuring feel-good, romantic, exciting and entertaining stories starring various Kapuso artists.
Prior to the huge collaboration signing, GMA Network has already presented and delivers timeless classic movies from Regal Entertainment featuring some of the country's biggest and hottest stars and sought-after love teams of their time through the Regal Treasures movie block airing every Friday at 4:00 pm on GTV. Meanwhile, Regal's first BL (Boys Love) series Ben x Jim premiered last September 26 and airs every Sunday at 11:00 pm on GMA's digital channel Heart Of Asia. Apart from these, Kapuso viewers can expect and look forward to a variety of fresh content and new movie features from Regal which will soon be shown across GMA's broadcast and digital platforms. This highly anticipated partnership combines Regal's brand of storytelling with the nationwide reach and broadcast capability of the Philippines' largest broadcasting network.
GMA Network Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon is pleased to see this partnership into fruition. “We are glad that Mother Lily and Regal have agreed to show their quality films in GMA and to co-produce TV programs to be shown also in GMA.
