GMA Artist Center (GMAAC), the talent management arm of the Philippines' largest broadcasting network GMA Network Inc., is committed to its vision of being at the forefront of discovering and honing world-class talents. Kapuso viewers witnessed a glimpse of "Signed For Stardom", GMAAC's biggest contract signing event, in the top-rating Sunday noontime variety show All Out Sundays (AOS) last September 5, 2021. GMAAC artists have already been recognized in various local and international film festivals and award-giving bodies. As they progress into the ever-changing landscape of showbusiness, they aim to produce more globally competitive artists that can impress local and international audiences.
Opening the AOS special segment was a short glimpse of how the management has helped its existing talents wow the world in several different fields and various award-giving bodies across countries. Aside from this, an exceptional song and dance number from the AyOS barkada including GMA Artist Center talents Julie Anne San Jose, Barbie Forteza, Rayver Cruz, Miguel Tanfelix, Aicelle Santos, Rita Daniela, Ken Chan, Gabbi Garcia, Ruru Madrid, Jessica Villarubin, Jeremiah Tiangco, Derrick Monasterio, Sanya Lopez, Bianca Umali, and Glaiza de Castro await its newest members. Throughout the years, GMAAC is always on the lookout for projects and collaborations, both local and international, where their artists can showcase their versatility in their chosen field of expertise.
GMAAC proudly sealed the contracts of various Kapuso artists during the said event which include Mark Herras, Pauline Mendoza, Ashley Ortega, Faye Lorenzo, Therese Malvar, Vaness Del Moral, Analyn Barro, Lucho Ayala, Sherilyn Reyes-Tan, Luane Dy, Jose Sarasola, Rain Matienzo, Martin Javier, Patricia Tumulak, Claire Castro, Alexandra Yap, Julia Pascual, Sandro Muhlach, Saviour Ramos, Lala Vinzon, Denise Barbacena, Shemee Buenaobra, Gab Yabut, Sebastian Pajarillo, Levince Sotto, Kimson Tan, Migs Villasis, Jamir Zabarte, Ashley Alcayde, Carlo San Juan, Lei Angela, Coleen Paz, Bryce Eusebio, Gabrielle Hahn, and Shanelle Agustin. This roster boasts of a variety of talents in the fields of singing, dancing, acting, and hosting as well as showbiz royalties who are full of promising potential. Present during the event were top GMA Network officials as well as the artists' co-managers - Bernard Anacta, Gertrudes Piccio, Ferdie Lapuz, Jay-Bee Ron TaƱedo, Angelo Diego Castro III, Christopher Tan, Jeffrey Gonzales, Lyndon Raymund Santos, Alberto Monteras II, Ernesto Unay, Tyronne Escalante, Charlie Dy, Mark Salamat, and Rex Bellarmino.
GMA Network Executive Vice President and Chief Finance Officer Felipe S. Yalong expressed his delight in signing up these artists during the grand event. “As far as I can remember, this is the biggest contract signing event that GMA has done. GMA Films President and GMA Network Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes also gladly congratulated the newly-signed Kapuso artists. GMA Network Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. GMA Network Senior Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara warmly shared her insights with the new generation of Kapuso stars. “I would like to congratulate all our artists and we welcome you as part of our growing family, ang pag-aartista, ang pagiging performer, ay hindi madali. It’s long hours, it’s hard work, but we hope that you make the most of the opportunities you are given, to showcase your creativity and your talent to the world. We are going to support you and we are going to try our best to provide opportunities and we hope that you will also give your best in performing and in sharing the best that you can be, not just to us but also to your fans and our audience.”
GMA Network Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer assured that these artists are in good hands. “I want to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone and at the same time, officially welcome them to the GMA Artist Center family. I know you’re saying that you are proud to be a Kapuso pero kami rin, proud din kami that you are all part of our organization. We are here as your management team to provide opportunities for your growth, to help train you, develop you to be world class talents.
