GMA News Hits 10 Million Subscriber Mark On YouTube, Gives GMA Network Its Third Diamond Creator Award

Multi-awarded broadcast news organization GMA News marks another digital milestone as it reached the ten million subscriber mark on YouTube, making Philippine broadcast giant GMA Network the first in the country and the second television network in Southeast Asia to have three Diamond Creator Awards. GMA Entertainment (with 24.6 million subscribers) and GMA Public Affairs (with 16.7 million subscribers) hit the said mark in 2019 and 2020, respectively. With a daily dose of breaking news and exclusive digital content as well as more than 8.52 billion total video views as of September 20, 2021, GMA News is now the third fastest-growing YouTube account in the Philippines under the News and Politics category according to video analytics firm Tubular Labs.

Launched in 2011, GMA News' YouTube channel offers diverse and original content - from in-depth explainers to interviews, breaking news coverage, and rundown of the biggest and freshest local and international news stories that matter to every netizen. Dishing out the latest news and information for Filipino viewers around the world are Express versions of 24 Oras, Saksi, Unang Balita Sa Unang Hirit, Balitanghali, State Of The Nation and 24 Oras Weekend.
