Spotify has officially launched two brand new Spotify Originals Podcasts for Filipino listeners regarding video games and eSports - Spawn Point by GHOST Wrecker and Weekly GG. Exclusively available on Spotify for Free and Premium users, local gaming and eSports enthusiasts can look forward to brand-new content on the vibrant gaming ecosystem by top Pinoy gaming experts.
Headlined by Elyson Caranza, more popularly known as GHOST Wrecker, Spawn Point with GHOST Wrecker is the go-to podcast for all things gaming, finessed with Caranza’s unique sense of humor and insider knowledge of the industry. The podcast will dissect trends in a variety of formats, including friendly debates between Caranza and his special guests, ranging from the effects of gaming, with points including its effects on one’s health, productivity, and social relationships. They will also compare popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games, League of Legends: Wild Rift and Mobile Legends, based on gameplay, difficulty, and visuals. “We are excited to connect with our fans and listeners on Spotify. Expanding our knowledge of gaming on podcasts will not only allow us to entertain the Filipino gaming community, but also delve deeper into fresh conversations through audio. Weekly GG, which is gamer speak for “good game,” is hosted by Tier One Entertainment, a notable, homegrown Esports entertainment company which is also the premier eSports talent management agency in Southeast Asia. Co-founded by Alodia Gosiengfiao, Tryke Gutierrez and Brian Lim, Tier One is passionate about nurturing the ecosystem of gamers and content creators. The podcast focuses on building a career in gaming, inspired by the hosts’ professional gaming experience. Weekly GG features young professional gamers including iconic gaming video creator Dexie Diaz and the players from top esports team Blacklist International who will share how they started their career in gaming, as well as highlights in their journey. “It’s been a long-term commitment of ours to fuel the interests of gaming amongst Filipinos.
