It’s a week before Christmas and TV5 has a special treat for loyal Kapatid viewers. With the overflowing love and support for its highly rated series, TV5 is proud to share that Niña Niño will be extended and is promised to come packed with lots of surprises in the weeks to come.

Since its premiere last April, Niña Niño has been registering record-breaking ratings performance for the network, coupled with international accolades such as the show’s recent win at the Asian Academy Creative Awards as the National Winner for Best Drama Series 2021. The awarding body also recognized the outstanding performance of the show’s lead star, Maja Salvador, by conferring her the coveted National Winner for Best Actress 2021 award. “We would like to congratulate the stars and teams that were recognized by the Asian Academy Creative Awards. We have seen Niña Niño’s great impact on our viewers and we think that this series extension would be a great gift for their supporters. Niña Niño reminds us to never give up despite the challenges we may face and that we can conquer anything as long as we have each other. It’s the perfect message that is in line with TV5’s ‘Atin Ang Paskong Ito, Kapatid’ campaign in this season of hope,” shared Cignal and TV5 President and CEO Robert P. Galang.

To show their appreciation for the love and support of their fans this Christmas, the series celebrated their year-end achievements in a virtual media conference last December 16 with the title, HIMALA NG PASKO: The Niña Niño Virtual Mediacon, and shared the exciting news about their series extension. Present among the cast were Noel Comia Jr., Empoy, Moi Bien, Dudz Teraña, Rowi Du, Lilet Esteban, Yayo Aguila, Giselle Sanchez, JM Salvado, Welwel Silvestre, Junyka Santarin, and Mutya Orquia. As the New Year comes, Niña Niño is going to introduce more characters and intriguing conflicts that will surely keep their viewers hooked and asking for more. Someone from the past is believed to be returning, at the expense of revealing a longtime secret that may threaten the relationship of the Niña Niño sibling duo. Fans must be on the lookout for Matet De Leon, Jairus Aquino, Nikki Valdez, Alex Medina, Harvey Bautista, Nikko Natividad, and Mon Confiado as they are among the new stars that will be joining the series. Get ready for all the feels because this hit comedy-drama series has a lot of gifts for their fans to unravel.

Produced by Cignal Entertainment in cooperation with CS Studios and Spring Films and directed by Thop Nazareno, Niña Niño airs on TV5 every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 7:15 pm before FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and after Sing Galing.
