Since its launch and inception in 1995, GMA Artist Center has produced some of the most luminous and notable names in the Philippine entertainment industry. For more than 25 years, the talent management arm of the largest broadcasting network in the Philippines held on to its premise of the country's biggest stars and honing its up-and-coming and emerging talents. Now, GMA Artist Center is taking up a notch as it kicked off 2022 with a freshly energized new name. Say hello to Sparkle!!
The rebranding was spearheaded by Johnny "Mr. M" Manahan with GMA Network's Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara. With Sparkle, the Kapuso network aims to light a fun and exciting spark in the local entertainment scene while evolving to fit the ever-changing media and digital landscape. As Mr. M aptly puts it, “Only the brightest stars sparkle. Our aim is to leave a little Sparkle wherever we go.” The rebranding was officially launched during GMA Network's Kapuso Countdown To 2022 New Year's Special through a music video featuring the song "Sparkle" performed by Psalms David, Thea Ashley and XOXO.
The music video introduced GMA's top and prominent talents that are set to leave a little 'sparkle' wherever they go and propel themselves to ever greater heights in 2022 and beyond. These talents include Alden Richards, Heart Evangelista, Julie Anne San Jose, Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, Gabbi Garcia, Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali, Derrick Monasterio, Miguel Tanfelix, Rayver Cruz, Rocco Nacino, Paolo Contis, Ken Chan, Ysabel Ortega, Klea Pineda, Pauline Mendoza, Radson Flores, Sef Cadayona, Althea Ablan, Jillian Ward, Martin Del Rosario, Mavy and Cassy Legazpi, Kyline Alcantara, Joaquin Domagoso, and Khalil Ramos among others.
Furthermore, the official website and social media accounts of the rebranded talent management arm are revamped and beginning to receive the Sparkle treatment through dazzlingly engaging content to better reflect its vibrant and colorful future. Indeed, the future is definitely bright for the prominent and emerging names in local showbiz as GMA Artist Center is making a Sparkle with a new name and fresher identity with the same premise.
