After a year of uncertain absence in the professional wrestling scene due to the effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) under the leadership of its current President, legendary Smashing Pumpkins frontman William Patrick "Billy" Corgan, started the year of resumption in 2021 at the cost of its flagship weekly show POWERRR being off YouTube and exclusively on the company's new digital broadcast partner FITE. However, it all paid off in the end. With the overwhelming support of professional wrestling fans around the world despite its limited reach and headlined by its monumental return to the historic Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, Missouri, 2021 was highly regarded as a wildly successful year for the NWA.
In 2022, through its newly-forged partnership with FITE, the NWA is giving back to the fans and reward them for making the modern era of the NWA what it is today through NWA All Access, a new service that offers exclusive live and on-demand streaming access to all of the organization's six scheduled pay-per-view (PPV) events throughout the year for either an annual subscription fee of US$49.99 or US$4.99 per month. All monthly and annual NWA All Access Pass holders will be able to continue watching fresh, new episodes of NWA Powerrr every Tuesday at 6:05 pm Eastern Standard Time (ET) (Wednesday, 6:05 am Philippine time) and get exclusive access to the Ten Pounds Of Gold documentary series and other premium content available on the service. But that's not all.
Through its partnership with FITE and by popular demand to say the least, the NWA brings back NWA POWERRR with a new episode being uploaded every Friday at 6:05 pm ET (Saturday, 6:05 am PHT) following its debut on FITE. In addition, the NWA is seeking to restore its rightful dominance on what was the best morning of the week and introduce new generation of professional wrestling fans worldwide what older fans grew up on every Saturday morning in America with NWA USA with a new weekly episode premiering on YouTube at 12:05 pm ET (Sunday, 12:05 am PHT) before becoming available as replays on FITE for NWA All Access members. This freshly exciting addition to the brand's quickly growing slate of action-packed programming features the revived NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship as well as the rising and emerging stars of the NWA Junior Heavyweight Division participating in a tournament that will determine the inaugural Junior Heavyweight Champion.
“With the NWA coming off our biggest and most successful year of this modern era, I can’t express just how thrilled I am to make this newest offering to fans via NWA All Access. And to that, we will work that much more to exceed expectations. Which is what makes the inherent savings in this annual package so exciting. Because we as an organization really believe this new model will change the game for us; all whilst rewarding our most loyal and ardent fans with more shows and more PPV events," says Corgan. Meanwhile, former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and the longest-reigning titleholder of NWA's modern era Nick Aldis shared, “Most wrestlers and wrestling fans grew up watching Saturday morning matches with classic promotions like NWA. We wanted to bring back that joyful state of being and indoctrinate impressionable young minds into the National Wrestling Alliance.”
