FITE has been granted PPV rights to major global territories including the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Germany and Australia to name a few, providing its world-class streaming reliability and device-agnostic options for The Global Titans Fight Series, on Saturday, May 14, 2022. The Event features legendary undefeated champion Floyd "Money" Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) returning to the ring to face unbeaten "Dangerous" Don Moore (18-0-1, 12 KOs) – it also features an incredible venue as the competitors square off "in the skies of Dubai" on the helipad above the 59th floor of Dubai's opulent Burj Al Arab Hotel.
FITE was chosen as the lead provider for Global Titans Dubai due to it being the premium global platform for live sports and entertainment events, known for presenting the industry's marquee PPV events and its registered base of over 6 million registered users. Airing live on Sunday, May 15 starting at 2:00 am Philippine/Singapore standard time via FITE available globally for US$29.99, the event will also showcase a fantastic card of world-famous combatants such as UFC legend Anderson Silva facing fellow Brazilian fighting star Bruno Machado in an exhibition bout, as well as a sanctioned bout between beloved former two-division world champion Badou Jack (25-3-3, 15 KOs) and Hany "Egyptian Hurricane" Atiyo (16-4, 12 KOs) from Dubai via Egypt. The card also includes a title fight between Belgian brawler Delfine Persoon and France's Maiva Hamadouche.
Following Global Titans Dubai, future Global Titans Fight Series events are planned to take place at the Pyramids at Giza, Niagara Falls, and the Grand Canyon. Previous sporting events at the helipad have featured Tiger Woods, Andre Agassi, Roger Federer, Golfer Rory McIlroy, and F1's David Coulthard. The event is presented by co-owners FrontRowTMT and ROQU Media, in association with Mayweather Promotions. Global Titans Fight Series is the first in a series of six special boxing and MMA events which will be staged at iconic locations across four continents. Meanwhile, FITE is proud to announce that Grapplefest, Europe's premiere submission grappling promotion, is bringing combat sports fans worldwide another epic card bringing the best athletes from every background and both sides of the Atlantic featuring two title fights. The event will be emanating from Liverpool's legendary Fusion Nightclub – where they go always hard – and is slated to be held on May 21, 2022 airing live on FITE starting at 11:00 pm Philippine/Singapore standard time. "This makes a dozen. And we're not about to let submission fans down now," said Grapplefest co-owner Chris Thompson.
As usual, Grapplefest 12 features the best fighters from the UK, Europe, the U.S. and Australia. The Main Event will see the under 80kg Champion, a Canadian fighting out of Ohio, Dante Leon, world wide Gi cgampion and ADCC veteran, will take on Andy "Night Night" Varela, the Texas-born 10th Planet fighter with an MMA background. Battling for the under 90kg title is champion Jon "Thor" Blank from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania a long time ADCC vet vs. Eoghan O'Flanagan out of Harlesden, London who currently holds the ADCC European Trials belt. More excitement on the card will see a match up of two more redent ADCC winners Ash Williams, of the UK and another ADCC Euro Trials Winner, takes on Keith Krikorian who holds the ADCC West Coast belt in the U.S. One of the most famous grapplers in the world – indeed, the second most Googled grappler on Earth – fighting out of Daisy Fresh gym, Jacob Crouch will fight UFC contract fighter Tom Breese.
Two time NCAA wrestling champion from Granite City, Illinois and another Daisy Fresh fighter, Michael Pixley will fight Owen Livesy, a Gold Medal winner in Judo at Great Britain's Commonwealth Games. Jack Grant vs. John Hathaway pits a Bellator UK standout against a current UFC fighter, respectively. Pierre-Olivier LeClerc who comes out of Montreal's TriStar Gym, home of Georges St-Pierre, will fight the up and comer Jack Tyley – a London 10th Planet fighter who is 5-0 with Grapplefest. One of grappling's top female athletes, Rosa Walsh of Ireland via Daisy Fresh will take on Gracie Barra London's Sue Mae-Lowenthal. The card also features an IBJJF World Champion, a UK Catch Wrestling Champion, and a special all Wales match up featuring the North's Josh Roberts – who has worked his way up to Grapplefest's Main Card after winning 5 straight undercard matches – vs. Tom Berry, who trains with Ash Williams.
