YouTube Fanfest is set to return to the live stage this year at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The show will be live-streamed globally on November 11, 2022 on the YouTube Fanfest channel at 5:30 PM PHT. YouTube Fanfest (YTFF) has been showcasing the diversity of the creator community with regional and in-country events across APAC since its inaugural show in Singapore back in 2013. This year, they will be celebrating the growth and success of YTFF, and showcasing its new wave of creator and artist talents that are taking them into the next ten years. The show is being held in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, Marina Bay Sands, and Singapore Airlines.
AC Bonifacio and the Guerrero siblings Ranz, Niana and Natalia (Philippines) will be performing live onstage together with CarryMinati, Noor Chahal, Be YouNick (Indonesia), Nihongo Mantappu, StarBe, Ricis Official, & Atta Halilintar (India), Billlie (Korea), Travis Japan (Johnny’s Jr. Channel), RAB リアルアキバボーイズ (Real Akiba Boyz) and Akanekikaku (アカネキカク) [Tomioka Dance Club] (Japan) with a high energy entertainment-focused showcase from top channels across the region. The show will feature hosts like Prajakta Koli aka MostlySane (Indonesia), Georgia Productions (Australia), and Annette Lee (Singapore). There will also be musical performances and live appearances from some of Singapore’s top creators – on stage at YTFF for the first time. Creators across multiple verticals, including Gaming, Beauty, Food and Comedy, will be sharing their content at Fanfest 10 with a series of fun cross market collaborations as we bring the best together from all over APAC – showcasing the diversity of verticals, languages, and channels in challenges, glow ups, fun food mash ups and comedy skits from our new and established YTFF stars.
The event kicks off with a red carpet experience at the Event Plaza in Marina Bay Sands at 5:30pm where fans will get to see our creators and artists up close and personal as they do live interviews with the hosts before the live show kicks off. Fans who want to attend the live event in Singapore will be able to sign up for General Admission (GA) tickets starting on PouchNation from 10:00am SGT on Thursday, October 13. GA Tickets are available for free but there will be limited seating available. Superfan tickets will also be available for a select group of fans. Superfan tickets come with front stage seating and access to a live Meet & Greet before the show. There will also be virtual Meet & Greets in the week following the live show from November 17 to 21. Participating creators and artists will be posting instructions on their social handles on how to apply for Superfan tickets and virtual Meet & Greets. Furthermore, Fanfest 10 is a fully vaccinated event. All registered fans may be required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination before entering the event space.

PLDT, Smart And Catholic Church Team Up For Digital And Mental Wellness Advocacy

PLDT Inc. and its wireless arm Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have launched a meaningful partnership under its Digital health and wellness banner program Better Today PH with the Archdiocese of Cebu’s Commission on Youth and university-based Psychology Center, Kauban — facilitating community-based digital and mental health programs reaching Cebu’s various grassroots communities.
Over 20 youth leaders were trained by psychology professors and mental healthcare professionals on the basics of Psychological First Aid (PFA). The end goal of the program is to upskill the youth leaders on PFA and cascade it to the Archdiocese’s different districts. “PLDT and Smart’s valuable partnership with the Church and well-respected psychology professionals will help invite more communities to mind their digital health and mental wellness. We are forwarding this advocacy through our services that champion our customers’ welfare,” said PLDT and Smart Stakeholder Management's Visayas Relations Head Marylou Gocotano.
This initiative will not only help end the stigma on mental healthcare, but also create a wider network of PFA responders who would soon help disaster or trauma-affected children, adolescents, adults, and families who are in need of immediate help. “Through this partnership, we can better see the community from a wider perspective which would unite us and enable us to plan for a wider help for the people in our communities,” said Rev. Fr. Andrei Ventanilla, Director of the Archdiocese of Cebu’s Commission on Youth. PLDT and Smart have also shared tips on Cyber Wellness especially equipping the participants knowledge on how to combat “Phishing Attacks” that may incite fear and anxiety among victims.
