ONE Championship, the world’s largest martial arts organization, has confirmed that streaming giant Prime Video is now the exclusive home for the first season of the hit reality show "The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition" in the United States and Canada. Fans in those countries can now watch, and binge-watch, every episode of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” on-demand. “This addition to ONE’s on-demand library on Prime Video gives us yet another way to connect with our passionate fan base in the U.S., as we provide them with this exciting new content stack,” ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong said.
Earlier this year, the critically acclaimed first season was released on Netflix in over 150 countries. The show enthralled viewers worldwide as it ranked in the Netflix Top 10 in Singapore and Indonesia and trended in numerous other nations around the globe. The first season of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” featured 16 global candidates competing in high-stakes physical and business challenges. The grand prize winner received a US$250,000 job offer to work directly under Sityodtong as his protege at the organization’s headquarters in Singapore. Additionally, candidates had the opportunity to learn under – and compete in front of – some of the biggest names in both the business and martial arts worlds. There were guest appearances from highly respected CEOs like Grab’s Anthony Tan, Zoom’s Eric Yuan, Catcha Group’s Patrick Grove, and Twilio’s Jeff Lawson as well as legendary martial artists like reigning ONE Flyweight World Champion Demetrious Johnson, Georges St-Pierre, Rich Franklin, and Renzo Gracie.
“The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” joins the organization’s growing library of content already available on Prime Video. In August, ONE Championship debuted on the streaming giant with ONE on Prime Video 1: Moraes vs. Johnson II. That blockbuster card was headlined by an epic ONE Flyweight World Title rematch, which was broadcast live to primetime audiences in the United States and Canada from inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Aside from “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” on Prime Video, U.S. and Canadian fans can also stream past fight events and the “Heroes of ONE” series. And on October 21, those same fans will be able to watch ONE on Prime Video 3: Lineker vs. Andrade live in primetime emanating from the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
