Joy and praises overflowed on social media after ABS-CBN launched the official music video of “Tayo Ang Ligaya Ng Isa’t Isa” Christmas ID that already garnered over one million views on YouTube and Facebook. The star-studded music video quickly trended on Twitter as netizens lauded the music video’s timely message for the Christmas season about holding on to God, family, and friends in times of challenges to find joy, as well as the featured stories of Filipinos who showed bravery and compassion for others.
Netizen Claire Remolta shared that she got emotional after watching the latest Christmas ID music video. “Grabe wala talagang time na ‘di ako umiiyak every time naririnig ko kanta ninyo lalo na’t tungkol sa Panginoon. God is good all the time kaya nga proud akong manonood ng Kapamilya. God bless all of you! The best CID,” she said. Another netizen, Nikko Alday, commented that his Christmas celebration is incomplete without ABS-CBN Christmas IDs. "Iba ang dalang inspirasyon niyo Kapamilya sa sambayanang Pilipinas. Personally, hindi kumpleto ang Pasko ko kapag wala ‘yung ganitong kagandang CID music video. Maraming salamat po, Kapamilya,” he shared.
“Tayo Ang Ligaya Ng Isa’t Isa” was written by ABS-CBN Creative Communication Management head Robert Labayen, while ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo composed the music and headed the overall vocal arrangement and music production. Musical arrangement was done by Tommy Katigbak and Tim Recla rendered the final mixed and mastered song. The CID features the voices of various Kapamilya stars and artists including Jane de Leon, Janella Salvador, Joshua Garcia, KD Estrada, Alexa Ilacad, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Ogie Alcasid, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Martin Nievera, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Sarah Geronimo, Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Jolina Magdangal, Melai Cantiveros, AC Bonifacio, Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, Darren Espanto, Kyle Echarri, Jed Madela, Klarisse de Guzman, Morissette, Angeline Quinto, Erik Santos, KZ Tandingan, Elha Nympha, Khimo Gumatay, Anji Salvacion, Bailey May, Piolo Pascual, Chito Miranda, Moira dela Torre, and Sharon Cuneta with the DYCI Dagalak Choir.
Everyone is also invited to join the #TayoAngLigayaDuets. Go to ABS-CBN's official vertical accounts (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook/Instagram Reels) to pick the artists for the duet. Users have the option to either sing or dance with the Kapamilya star. After doing the duet, users are encouraged to upload their video using the official hashtag #TayoAngLigayaDuets.
