The stars of Cignal Entertainment’s programs on TV5 extended their all-out gratitude for the overwhelming support of Kapatid viewers via the successful showbiz caravan held in Starmall San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan last November 17-19, 2022. Powered by Cignal Play and Sulit TV, the Cignal Entertainment Showbiz Caravan highlighted upcoming finales of the comedy programs “Oh My Korona” and “Kalye Kweens", the movieserye “Suntok Sa Buwan” and the grand finals of the bidaoke kantawanan ng bayan “Sing Galing” and “Sing Galing Kids.” The spectacular event featured live performances from Elijah Canlas, Paulo Angeles, and Awra Briguela of “Suntok sa Buwan"; Alma Moreno, Marissa Sanchez, and Giselle Sanchez of “Kalye Kweens"; Pooh, Queenay, and Jessie Salvador of “Oh My Korona"; and Randy Santiago, K Brosas, Mari Mar, Singtokers Gab and Daniel, and Zendee of “Sing Galing".
Mallgoers enjoyed a Pasko-Oke Celebrity Bazaar that showcased pre-loved items from the celebrities such as K Brosas. A portion of the earnings was donated to the Kids of National Children’s Hospital and to baby Aaron who is a 7-year-old patient with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Aside from the festive activities, guests were able to win awesome prizes from Cignal and event presentor Brilliant Skin Essentials. The success of the showbiz caravan definitely proved the immense support that Kapatid viewers have for Cignal Entertainment’s shows on TV5. Don’t miss the much-awaited finale of the sitcom “Oh My Korona” on November 26, the grand finals of “Sing Galing Kids” and “Sing Galings” on December 3 and December 10, the tear-jerking ending of the movieserye “Suntok Sa Buwan” on December 8, and the conclusion to the bardagulans in “Kalye Kweens” on December 24. On the other hand, there’s a new LSS (Last Song Syndrome)-inducing Christmas jingle as TV5 releases the official music video of the network’s 2022 Christmas station ID. Launched during the halftime of PBA’s 2nd game last November 18, the music video features TV5’s award-winning shows and Kapatid celebrities. Titled “Sama-Samang Ihatid Ang Ibang Saya Ng Pasko", TV5’s 2022 Christmas ID banners the theme “Iba ang Pasko ‘Pag Sama-Sama” which encapsulates the joy of celebrating this year’s holiday season with our loved ones. “As we learn to adjust to the new normal, we have gradually returned to face-to-face events, onsite meetings, and catching up with friends again. For our Christmas Station ID, we wanted to emphasize this wonderful feeling of re-establishing that human connection, of sharing all these happy moments together and in person,” shared Cignal and TV5 President and CEO Robert P. Galang.
Pioneering in the concept of IBA sa 5 and their “Iba’ng Saya ‘Pag Sama-Sama” campaign, TV5’s 2022 Christmas Station ID highlighted the concept of inclusivity that supports diversity in each community. The #TV5ChristmasStationID lyrics were written by Dia Pulido of Media5 Integrated creatives while the jingle was composed by the team from Flipmusic and performed by Philippine Idol alumni led by Mau Marcelo, Gian Magdangal, Jan Nieto, Miguel Mendoza, Pow Chavez, Kenneth Dingle, Arms Cruz, Jeli Mateo, Raymond Sajor, Stef Lazaro, and MYK.
