iQIYI will be releasing six titles from varying genres across the Lunar New Year holiday period including Perfect Mismatch, Viva Femina, Under The Microscope, Echo, When I See Your Face, and Pui Pui Molcar 1 & 2.

Fans of romance dramas or those looking for a more light-hearted watch can look forward to Perfect Mismatch and When I See Your Face. Starring Luo Zheng and Rain Lu, Perfect Mismatch outlines a unconventional relationship between a CEO and a village girl. Internationally renowned for helming roles as a bossy CEO, Luo Zheng’s charisma in his comedic character of Zhou Zhifei is definitely the standout of this drama. When I See Your Face brings two young rising stars Duan Aojuan, who is better known as a Mandopop singer who rose to fame after her time on Produce 101 and Chen Bohao, who made his acting debut in 2019. It tells the story of Lu Hui (played by Duan Ao Juan) who has face blindness and eventually falls in love with Lang Cheng Zhou (played by Chen Bo Hao), who protects her in a bid for himself to be remembered by her.

In Viva Femina, three female leads Yin Tao, Wang Yuanke and Kira Shi form an unlikely friendship while working at a beauty centre. The plot explores feminist themes of the mother-daughter relationship between Kang Zi You (played by Yin Tao) and Kang Ni (played by Lu Chenue) and the marriage issues that Lin Qian Yu (played by Kira Shi) is facing, leaving Kang Zi You with no choice but to solve the issue with her ex-husband’s wife, Meng Yu Shan (played by Wang Yuanke). On the other hand, historical suspense period title Under The Microscope depicts Zhang Ruoyun playing the role of a mathematics nerd who is responsible for solving the economic problems of the entire village. A riff of Ma Boyoung’s novel of the same name, the well-written folk stories from the Ming Dynasty paired with a stellar cast consisting of Stephy Qi, Wayne Yang, and Wu Gang is much anticipated by fans.

Veteran actress Song Jia’s latest suspense thriller, Echo, in which she plays a policewoman who battles both work and emotions when dealing with a crime case and her husband’s (played by Wayne Yang) betrayal simultaneously. Lastly, catch two seasons of the adorable animated series Pui Pui Molcar, which consist of 2-minute long anime episodes from the producers of Doraemon and Crayon Shin-Chan. These short comedic stories revolving the lives of guinea pigs who double up as transport are a good laugh for all ages in the family. Expect these upcoming titles to become available internationally on the iQiYi website (iq.com) and mobile app.
