beIN SPORTS is proud to announce its exclusive broadcasting rights for the upcoming Rugby World Cup 2023 slated to take place in France on September 8–October 28, 2023. Through the prestigious tournament showcasing the pinnacle of international rugby, beIN SPORTS will captivate sports enthusiasts and fans as it brings every thrilling moment to screens across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Philippines, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.
As part of its extensive coverage, beIN SPORTS will broadcast all 48 matches of Rugby World Cup 2023 including the pool and knockout phase and the highly-anticipated final on a dedicated pop-up channel beIN SPORTS RUGBY and via live streaming on beIN SPORTS CONNECT. Fans can expect player interviews, expert analysis, in-depth commentary, and behind-the-scenes features that will enhance their experience and enjoyment of the tournament. Broadcasting from September 1st to November 5th, beIN SPORTS RUGBY will be available on select pay-tv platforms across the region and beIN SPORTS CONNECT. The tenth edition of Rugby World Cup will see twenty of the best teams in the world, including defending champions South Africa, battling it out across nine venues in France in a bid to lift rugby’s most coveted prize – the iconic Webb Ellis Cup. Kicking off the month-long global rugby spectacle is the blockbuster opening match between host France and New Zealand on September 8, 2023 (Friday) at 9:15pm CEST (Saturday, September 9, 3:15am PHT/SGT/HKT).
