ABS-CBN, the Philippines' premiere media and entertainment company and leading content provider, and GMA Public Affairs' multi-awarded documentary series "The Atom Araullo Specials" raised the Philippine flag scored huge wins at the ContentAsia Awards 2023 held last August 24, 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand which was broadcasted live via online streaming. The ContentAsia Awards are owned and operated by ContentAsia, a 17-year-old information platform curated to offer insights into Asia’s content environment, which aims to recognize media and produtions that authentic Asian stories and entertainment to screens around the world.

ABS-CBN's community singing game show “Everybody, Sing!” hosted by Asia's Unkabogable Phenomenal Superstar Vice Ganda and Star Cinema’s “An Inconvenient Love" starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano won Best Asian Original Game Show and Best Asian Feature Film/Telemovie, respectively. “Tingnan mo nga naman, when it rains, it pours. Ang daming good news. Ang taray ng “Everybody, Sing!”, puro international awards ang napapanalunan at nano-nominate. I’m just so happy. Ang daming winning moment,” Vice Ganda said in her Instagram live after the awarding ceremony to express her gratitude. Meanwhile, the recently concluded Kapamilya hit series “Dirty Linen” bagged the Silver Award for Best Asian Drama for a Single Market in Asia while the Philippine adaptation of “Flower of Evil” clinched the Bronze Award for Best TV Format Adaptation (Scripted) in Asia. Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal, ABS-CBN International Production head Ruel Bayani, and ABS-CBN Entertainment Business Unit Heads Kylie Manalo-Balagtas, Marcus Joseph Vinuya, and Carlina dela Merced represented the company at the awards night which has the most number of wins among the Philippine nominees.

On the other hand, “The Atom Araullo Specials” won Best Current Affairs Programme made in Asia for Regional Asia and/or International Markets for its "Mata Sa Dilim" episode. First aired in 2022, the award-winning documentary delved into how online sexual abuse and exploitation of children has become a silent pandemic with cases of online child sex abuse worsening amid the COVID-19 pandemic. "The whole team is elated to receive this recognition from ContentAsia. We want to dedicate the award to the courageous survivors of online child sexual abuse, as well as the advocates who are working tirelessly to fight the spread of OSEC. The work continues," said Atom. Receiving the award on behalf of the program and GMA Network was The Atom Araullo Specials Executive Producer Ian Simbulan. Earlier this year, the same documentary also gave the Philippines one of its Gold medals at the 2023 New York Festivals TV & Film (NYF) Awards, winning in the Documentary: Social Issues category.
