The team of Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, and Ion Perez (JKI) was hailed as the grand champion in this year’s Magpasikat competition on “It’s Showtime” today last November 11, 2023 as their performance about the responsible use of social media and technology earned the highest score from the judges. Team JKI showcased a glimpse of how social media can destroy relationships, family, and oneself if not used properly. They also wowed the viewers with their parkour and acrobatic skills. They won Php300,000 which will be given to the team's chosen charity.

Taking home second place was the team of Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid, and Ryan Bang who sympathized with people across the globe and different walks of life who are struggling and healing. The team won Php200,000 for their chosen charity. The team of Vhong Navarro, Teddy Corpuz, and Jugs Jugueta got third place and won Php100,000 for its AI-infused tribute to Philippine comedy and the great Filipino comedians that the nation has lost through the years. Both the teams of Vice Ganda, Jackie Gonzaga and Cianne Dominguez with dreams as its theme and Karylle, Amy Perez, Lassy, and MC with a performance that pays tribute to hardworking Filipinos in and out of the country won Php50,000 for their chosen charities as well. The panel of judges for Magpasikat 2023 was comprised of veteran actor and Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) chairperson Tirso Cruz III, award-winning director and Star Cinema managing director Olivia Lamasan, Filipino-American rapper-singer and The Black Eyed Peas co-founder Apl.De.Ap, Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza, and The Dawn's frontman Jett Pangan.

The hosts also shared their messages for their 14th anniversary and thanked the top officials of ABS-CBN for their continuous support for the show through the years as well as A2Z, GTV, and TV5 for providing a platform for the show to reach and entertain a wider nationwide viewing audience. According to Vice, "Dine-depict natin yung pangkaraniwang pamilyang Pilipino. Taon-taon ay hinahataw ng maraming bagyo na hindi mo alam kailan darating. Minsan handa ka, minsan may darating na saklolo pero minsan kayo-kayo lang. Pero gumigising pa rin kinabukasan at buhay na buhay pa rin. Nananatili pa rin." Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer Of Broadcast Cory Vidanes commended and thanked the hosts, the whole staff and crew of "It's Showtime" for their hard work and serving the audiences world-class performances. She also showed gratitude to the madlang people for their unending support to the show. Netizens have also tuned in to the week-long Magpasikat performances as the hashtags of the live episode #Showtime14ever, #ShowtimeMagpasikat2023, and their individual hashtags trended daily.

Prior to Magpasikat 2023, “It’s Showtime” made a spectacular comeback and debuted strongly on its new and earlier timeslot at 11:30 am on weekdays with exhilarating new segments, “It’s Showdown” and “Funanghalian", that trended on social media last October 30, 2023. Netizens expressed their delightedness in seeing the ABS-CBN’s hit noontime show return to its classic roots and featuring the amazing talents of Filipinos in dancing in “It’s Showdown" while having a dose of laughter with the banters of hosts in “Funanghalian.” In “It’s Showdown,” two groups will face each other in ‘Hatawan-on- one’ and ‘Dance Showdown’ to impress the judges regularly comprising of World of Dance Philippines country director Vimi Rivera, Star Magic resident choreographer Mickey Perz and ASAP Natin 'To's 'Queen Of The Dance Floor' and It's Showtime host Kim Chiu. In the first round, each group will choose one representative to do a dance-off in the Dance Arena while in the second round, both groups will showcase their prepared pieces. In the event of a tie, the hosts will pick one member from each group that will do a solo showdown. Meanwhile, in “Funanghalian: Tumpakners", a pair of “It’s Showtime” hosts and even the studio audience need to match their answers with each other in the categories given to them.
