GomBurZa Is Metro Manila Film Festival 2023's Most Decorated Film

What people have been calling the biggest historical film of the new decade garnered multiple accolades at the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal last December 27, 2023. GomBurZa, the epic film about Philippine history’s three martyred priests, bagged major awards for Best Actor, Best Director, 2nd Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Sound Design, and received the special Gatpuno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award – a testament to how this cinematic masterpiece has earned the nod of film critics and the viewing public.
