ABS-CBN Corporation, the premiere media and entertainment company and leading content provider in the Philippines, has officially forged a new partnership with Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS), a fresh player in the local television scene, that will bring iconic Filipino entertainment programs and relevant news and information to more viewing audiences via the ladder's free-to-air broadcast channel ALLTV. Through the content agreements signed and executed in a simple but meaningful contract signing ceremony held last April 23, 2024 inside Brittany Hotel Villar City in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite, ALLTV is set to host a number of all-time favorite Kapamilya shows under the Jeepney TV brand and, most importantly, simulcast the Philippines' longest-running primetime newscasts TV Patrol and TV Patrol Weekend.
Present at the contract signing ceremony were Villar Group of Companies Chairman and former Philippine Senator Manny Villar; Senate of the Philippines' Deputy Majority Leader Senator Mark Villar; Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Paolo Villar, All Value Holdings Corporation President and CEO, House of Representatives Deputy Speaker and Lone District of Las PiƱas City Representative Congresswoman Camille Villar; and top AMBS officials led by AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Cecille Bernardo as well as top ABS-CBN officials led by Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Group CFO Rick Tan, and Chief Partnership Officer Bobby Barreiro.
Prior to the monumental contract signing, ABS-CBN President Carlo Katigbak shared in his speech how the two corporations discussed and considered things to deliver a great service to the Filipino audience through news and entertainment, stating, “As you know, we take our relationship with our partners very, very seriously and when it takes some time to finally see our tie-up, you can rest assured that our commitment to you is rock solid. We are very excited to bring the ABS-CBN brand of storytelling to the audience of ALLTV. There’s been a persistent clamor for Patrol’s credible news and information to reach our audience that we once had. I hope that by working together with ALLTV, we are once again able to deliver this service in all our Kababayans. We are looking forward in all possibilities that this newest partnership would be.”
Congresswoman Villar, on the other hand, welcomed the Kapamilya network and hoped for a 'long, fruitful and good partnership between AMBS and ALLTV as well as ABS-CBN'. She expressed, “We are very excited to welcome TV Patrol, which is now the longest running news show in the Philippines. We are very honored to have them on ALLTV as well as the rest of the content from Jeepney TV. We are very, very happy. We are finally here. We are finally going to formally start our partnership, and we look forward to more collaborations ahead, more good news ahead and a very long and fruitful partnership.” Beginning May 13, ALLTV viewers can catch selected all-time favorite Kapamilya teleseryes from ABS-CBN's pay TV channel Jeepney TV in different parts of the day, including primetime, and get the latest important news from TV Patrol weeknights at 6:30 pm and TV Patrol Weekend airing every Saturday and Sunday at 5:30 pm. The new partnership seeks to deliver enjoyable, enriching, and informative content to audiences via ALLTV available on analog free TV channel 2, digital free TV, cable and satellite TV nationwide.
