Rewind Networks has expanded its reach in the Philippines, the Maldives and Papua New Guinea as its partnerships with affiliates Accion (Asian Cable Communications Inc.) and MediaNet continue to grow while establishing its freshly strong presence in a new viewership market with its new affiliate partner Digicel PNG. “We are so excited to expand our channels’ presence with existing affiliate partners in the Philippines and the Maldives, and to establish a strong start in a new market, Papua New Guinea. Our affiliates have provided strong support for us in their respective markets and these partnerships continue to underscore Rewind Networks’ efforts to strengthen our presence in Asia," said Rewind Networks CEO Avi Himatsinghani.
Accion, one of Rewind Networks’ longstanding affiliate partners with a distribution network of local cable operators across the Philippines, has distributed HITS and HITS MOVIES since 2014 and 2019 respectively and is set to add HITS NOW to its channel line-up effective May 1, 2024. MediaNet, a pay-TV and cable TV operator in the Maldives, debuted HITS NOW last April 1, 2024 and is now available alongside HITS and HITS MOVIES, bringing the best of general entertainment TV to Maldivian audiences. Digicel PNG, which provides satellite broadcast television services to the whole of Papua New Guinea and is a new affiliate partner for Rewind Networks in the said country, launched HITS MOVIES on its service on April 1, 2024, bringing a line-up of blockbuster movies from the 1960s to the late 2000s to new viewers.

HITS NOW features modern entertainment with branded reality and talent shows such as Survivor, America’s Got Talent, American Idol, Shark Tank, Hell’s Kitchen, and Britain’s Got Talent, among others within 36 hours of their original telecast. In 2024, it its set to debut reality series such as The Traitors and Race To Survive: Alaska; as well as drama series such as the successful Fire Country, Sullivan’s Crossing, So Help Me Todd, and Alert: Missing Persons Unit. Game show fans, on the other hand, can play along with The $100,000 Pyramid, Barmageddon, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, and Celebrity Family Feud. Those craving light-hearted entertainment can kick back with comedies Lopez vs Lopez, Young Rock, The Goldbergs and Ghosts while true crime aficionados can follow real life cases with Fear Thy Neighbor, Fear Thy Roommate, Snapped: Killer Couples and Murder for Hire. And for everything Hollywood, viewers can catch up with the long running entertainment news show Entertainment Tonight. HITS MOVIES’ slate in 2024 includes favourites such as Alvin and the Chipmunks, Catch Me If You Can, Under Siege, Up In The Air, Little Women (1994), Julie & Julia, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Pursuit of Happyness, Kindergarten Cop, Spider-Man, Jumanji, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, and many more.
