The hosts of the long-running Kapamilya noontime variety show “It’s Showtime” and the cast of the newest primetime drama series “High Street” have felt the warm welcome of the people of the province of Pampanga, especially in the city of San Fernando, as more than 20,000 supporters gathered at the SM City Pampanga Amphitheater last May 5, 2024 for ABS-CBN’s Bida Kapamilya event filled with musical and dance performances that bring joy and utmost satisfaction to those who have enjoyed the grand affair.
Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid, Jhong Hilario, Darren Espanto, Jugs Jugueta, Ryan Bang, Ion Perez, Jackie Gonzaga, Cianne Dominguez, MC, and Lassy entertained the fans who trooped to the event with their fun performances. They also went around areas in San Fernando to meet more Kapamilyas during their float parade prior to the Bida Kapamilya event while the TNT (Tawag Ng Tanghalan) champions Lyka Estrella, JM Yosures, Rea Gen Villareal, JM Dela Cerna, Marielle Montellano, and Reiven Umali came together to serenade the crowd in Pampanga. Meanwhile, Andrea Brillantes, Xyriel Manabat, Elijah Canlas, Miggy Jimenez, Tommy Alejandrino, Harvey Bautista, and Ralph de Leon delighted the crowd with their song numbers. The Kapamilya stars also unveiled the official poster of the highly anticipated sequel to “Senior High” during the program. Besides the entertaining numbers, attendees were also treated to free ice cream and water, while those who got lucky went home with raffle prizes and premium items from Bida Kapamilya.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News on ABS-CBN's flagship primetime newscast "TV Patrol", Anne Curtis expressed her excitement about the warm welcome they received from the people of Pampanga, saying, "Nakakakilig 'yung pagpasok pa lang namin, napaka-warm ng welcome ng mga Cabalen kaya sobra kaming nagpapasalamat sa pagmamahal nila sa [It's] Showtime. We are so happy we finally made it to Pampanga. Vice also shared his joy in seeing the fans in Pampanga, saying, "Masaya tapos buo kaming Showtime almost kasi si Vhong lang ang kulang. Ang sarap na sama-sama kami sinalubong ng mga Kapampangan Kapamilya natin. Nakakatuwa kasi nakakamiss din gawin kasi matagal na hindi nagagawa 'to. (It's a happy feeling to see our fans in Pampanga. It feels complete to have almost all of us from Showtime here. It's a great experience to be welcomed by our Kapampangan Kapamilya, it's been a while since we've done this.)" Actress and "High Street" cast member Xyriel Manabat, on the other hand, expressed her appreciation for the fans' dedication, saying, "Sobrang gusto ko lang sabihin na sobrang appreciated namin 'yung effort nila. Sobrang grabe and thank you kasi sobrang init po ngayon [pero] pumila sila and nag-stay sila sa labas sobrang thankful po kasi sa dedication nila. (We are truly grateful for their efforts. It's amazing to see them lining up and staying outside in the heat. We are thankful for their dedication.)
