TV5 officially kicked off its Christmas festivities with the symbolic lighting of the network’s iconic giant Red Ball last October 4, 2024 at the TV5 Media Center in Reliance, Mandaluyong City. The ceremony, now a yearly tradition, illuminated the spirit of the season for the Kapatid Network, signaling a joyous and meaningful celebration ahead. This year’s theme, “Hatid-Saya Ang Paskong Kapatid", carries a special message of bringing joy to everyone. Building on last year’s message of “Feel Na Feel Ang Paskong Kapatid", “Hatid-Saya Ang Paskong Kapatid” focuses on how Christmas is a time to foster hope and community service, bringing happiness to Kapatid viewers all across the world.

“We believe in spreading joy and warmth during the holiday season, and that is what our Hatid-Saya campaign is all about. It reflects our commitment to bring people together in celebrating and sharing the spirit of Christmas in meaningful ways. Kasama kami ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino na maghahatid ng saya, pag-asa, at pagmamahal sa isa’t-isa ngayong Kapaskuhan,” shared TV5 Network Inc. President and CEO Guido R. Zaballero. The event venue was adorned with vibrant Filipino Christmas decorations including creatively designed parols branded with logos of TV5’s loyal advertisers while the air was filled with enticing aromas of freshly cooked bibingka and puto-bumbong, offering attendees an authentic taste of the Pinoy Christmas spirit. The celebration was further enlivened by a captivating performance from the 2023 Grand Winner of the Tinig ng Pasko Chorale Competition from the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) with a beautiful rendition of Joy To The World, Veni, Emmanuel!, Kumukutikutitap, Christmas in Our Hearts, and Maligayang Pasko.

Their appearance brought joy to fans, making the night even more special. Those at home were able to enjoy some of the festivities on their television screens during TV5's flagship primetime newscast Frontline Pilipinas with showbiz and information segment host Jervi Wrightson (Kaladkaren).
