The city's transformation for this year's holiday season started with a festive ceremonial affair held last November 6, 2024 led by the Ayala Land's top officials and representatives including Jaime Zobel de Ayala, Sofia Zobel Elizalde, Bianca Zobel de Ayala, Ayala Land President and CEO Meean Dy, Ayala Land Senior Vice President and Head of Leasing and Hospitality Mariana Zobel de Ayala and Ayala Land Estates Head Chris Maglanoc with the local government unit (LGU) led by Mayor Abby Binay, Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo, 1st District Congressman Kid Pena, and 2nd District Congressman Luis Campos. The event continued with vibrant musical performances from UST Singers, STEPS Dance Project, Arman Ferrer, Shiela Valderama, Kayla Rivera, Rony Fortich, and the Philippine Suzuki Youth Orchestra as they graced Tower One and Exchange Plaza’s fountain area, setting the tone for what Makatizens can enjoy in the days to come. Every weekend, the Gardens will host live performances featuring choirs, orchestras, singers, dancers, and theater performers. The lineup includes Stellar Diva, Bituin Escalante with the Habemus Pappas, the Philippine Suzuki Youth Orchestra, the internationally acclaimed UST Singers, The Luminaries (Arman Ferrer, Floyd Tena, Shiela Valderrama-Martinez, Kayla Rivera, and Yanah Laurel), Ballet Manila, Steps Dance Project, balladeer Gian Magdangal, soprano Lara Maigue, the multi-awarded acapella group Acapellago, and many other renowned Filipino artists.
