In celebration of the long-awaited finale season of the Emmy-winning animated series Arcane, Riot Games Philippines partners with Rumble Royale Stronghold in Quezon City to bring Jinx's Safehouse to life. A near month-long capstone on-ground event, Jinx’s Safehouse promises series fans and players of Riot Games' popular titles a fun and immersive experience every weekend from now until November 24, 2024. Based on the popular multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legends (LOL), Arcane is an animated series developed and produced by Riot Games in partnership with Fortiche Productions in 2009. The story follows the origins of two iconic League champions, Vi and Jinx, set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun.
The second and final season of Arcane premieres this November on Netflix in three acts. In time for the series finale, Riot Games Philippines has taken over and transformed Rumble Royale Stronghold into Jinx’s Safehouse, a rendition of the popular hideout of one of the lead characters (Jinx) in the animated series. The venue will be the site of weekly events and activities such as mini games, exhibitions, show matches, cosplay competitions, watch parties for Arcane S2, and more. Jinx’s Safehouse promises immersive booths that integrate Arcane into popular modes from each of Riot Games’ game titles. The League of Legends booth will feature ARAM at Arcane’s Bridge of Progress while Wild Rift will have an Arcane-themed 1v1 Play Lounge. Teamfight Tactics will give audiences chances to “Replay the Plot” and VALORANT will breathe life into the upcoming Arcane Bundle. Jinx’s Safehouse is open to the public every Saturday and Sunday until November 24, 2024 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. However, a ticketing system will be implemented for Saturday activities to ensure the safety of all guests while the venue will be open for all during Sundays.
The scheduled weekend activities at Jinx’s Safehouse will follow the three acts of the series, giving guests more chances to win Arcane prizes. These kicked off last November 9 with the League of Legends Cosplay Competition Finals, an ARAM Showmatch featuring local League influencers, and a watch party of Arcane Season 2 Act I followed by Arcane Unleashed Act I, a live recap of the first three episodes with special guests, last November 10. On November 16, fans can look forward to a meet and greet with Wild Rift influencers and even get the chance to challenge former Wild Rift pros to a 1v1. The Arcane Season 2 Act II Premiere watch party will also take place on this day, while Arcane Unleashed for Act II is slated the following day, November 17. The final weekend activities slated on November 23 will feature Riot’s other titles, Teamfight Tactics and VALORANT, as they host their own show matches and Arcane showcases in addition to a watch party for the Arcane Season 2 finale. Capping off the near month-long event is a wrap up of the second season and final act with Arcane Unleashed - Act III scheduled on November 24.
Jinx’s Safehouse is in partnership with global apparel retail brand UNIQLO Philippines which showcases the upcoming ARCANE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS UT, a graphic T-shirt collection bringing iconic characters from Arcane and their unmistakable style to life. Guests can now be able to preview the collection in the Safehouse ahead of its launch in all UNIQLO stores and UNIQLO.com/ph. Lucky guests will have a chance to get their hands on these t-shirts through various venue activities. Additionally, the Arcane Season 2 watch parties will be sponsored by world-famous pizza restaurant chain Pizza Hut, providing free pizzas for guests and even offering flash sales for all three days of watch parties. Acer will also be powering an Arcane experience play area where players can experience upcoming Arcane cosmetics in League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, VALORANT, and Wild Rift. For those outside of Metro Manila, Riot Games Philippines will be teaming up with PC Cafes outside Metro Manila to host regional Arcane S2 Finale Watch Parties. The locations of the regional events will be announced soon.
“The finale of Arcane is an important moment for us at Riot Games. And it is a moment that we want to share with as many people as possible, to keep delivering positive experiences to Pinoy gamers.
