In its commitment to making sports accessible for all and to inspiring young children to pursue their potential, MILO® Philippines has partnered with SWIM Philippines (SWIM PH), the umbrella organization of the esteemed Bert Lozada Swim School (BLSS) which is known to be the biggest in the country. This partnership continues the brand’s mission to build well-rounded athletes who are Champions in sports and in life. Renowned for having produced several Olympians, national athletes, and record-breaking swimmers while having taught over 600,000 students how to swim over the last 69 years and serving over 30,000 enrollees annually, Bert Lozada Swim School brings decades of expertise and supports the MILO® vision of sports for all.

Through this partnership, MILO® Philippines reinforces its dedication to empowering future Champions to grow and succeed through discipline, grit, and teamwork. Together, MILO® and SWIM PH with BLSS aim to make a deeper impact on the future of swimming in the Philippines. Kicking off the MILO® and SWIM PH partnership would be the Inter-School Swimming Competitions, referring to regional meets that will be held in long and short course formats across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. At the heart of this initiative is a shared goal — to discover and nurture young talent from the grassroots level, starting in schools where many future champions first learn to love the sport. SWIM PH and BLSS will also lend their expertise to flagship programs such as the MILO® Summer Sports Clinics, helping to provide young swimmers with the essential life skills and training needed to kickstart their athletic journey. In addition, novice-level competitions will also be held nationwide, offering opportunities for Champs in the making to showcase their potential and gain valuable experience. With more than 40 active branches in the country, BLSS with SWIM PH continues to be a key player in grassroots sports development, now with the added strength of MILO®, the country’s leading advocate for youth sports and active lifestyles.

“We’ve always believed that sports can shape a child’s future — but swimming, in many ways, goes even deeper. It’s a life skill that gives children the empowerment to feel safe in the water. Through this partnership with SWIM PH, we’re not just building athletes. We are helping kids build lifelong confidence. SWIM PH shares the same commitment we have at MILO® Philippines, and that is to shape the next generation of athletes through values that matter — grit, teamwork, and discipline. With our aligned vision, we believe this partnership will create meaningful synergies that can elevate the state of swimming and grassroots sports in the country, and inspire more young Filipinos to lead active lives and become champions,” said NestlĂ© Philippines Inc. Senior Vice President and Business Executive Officer of Beverages and Confectionery Veronica Carmen “Caron” Cruz. With this collaboration, MILO® Philippines and Bert Lozada Swim School dive deeper into their shared mission to nurture the youth through sports — empowering youth from all over the country to grow not just as athletes, but as champions in life. CBF Extends Exclusive Integrity Pact With Sportradar

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and Sportradar Integrity & Regulatory Services, a unit of Sportradar AG, announce the extension of their long-standing partnership, set to begin with the 2025 season. The new agreement aims to enhance efforts to combat match-fixing in Brazilian football and safeguard the integrity of the sport. Sportradar, through its industry-leading Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS), will deliver integrity monitoring for more than 8,200 men’s and women’s matches organized annually by the CBF. Through this renewed partnership, the UFDS will now cover all Brazilian national championships.

The renewal of the partnership comes at an important time in the fight against match-fixing. According to the Integrity in Action 2024 Global Analysis & Trends published by Sportradar in early 2025, the number of matches suspected of being manipulated worldwide fell by 17% in 2024. Notably, in 2024, Brazil experienced a significant decline in the number of suspicious soccer matches with 53 fewer cases detected – a decrease of 48% – compared to the previous year. CBF President Ednaldo Rodrigues states, “Strengthening the integrity of Brazilian football is a priority for this administration, and the renewal of this partnership further reinforces our commitment to this mission. The work of the CBF’s Integrity Unit, in collaboration with Sportradar, will complement monitoring by FIFA and result in more than 10,000 Brazilian football matches being covered this season. It’s an impressive and symbolic milestone that makes us very proud. This is a partnership that has been bearing fruit and has been crucial in the fight against match-fixing, ensuring a fairer and safer environment for the sport.”

Sportradar Integrity & Regulatory Services Executive Vice President Andreas Krannich commented, “We have built a strong collaboration with CBF to reinforce the integrity of Brazilian football. With this new agreement, Sportradar is providing the most comprehensive coverage Brazilian football has ever had. We are very pleased to continue this partnership with one of the world’s most-renowned football organizations.” The continuing partnership with CBF, which began in 2018, underscores Sportradar’s commitment to protecting global football from potential integrity threats. This effort joins existing agreements established with leading football organizations including CONMEBOL, FIFA, UEFA, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Colombian Football Federation (FCF), as well as more than 270 other sports organizations and government authorities.
