Charo Santos and Dingdong Dantes’ romantic film “Only We Know” continues to resonate with many viewers, no matter what their relationship status is, who have shared their life-changing takeaways from the film after stepping out of cinemas with a newfound appreciation for life’s beautiful moments. “Only We Know” continues to receive an outpouring of support from viewers, and most recently from film bloggers, who have shared their favorite quotable quotes from the film and the impactful message it conveys about dealing with hardships in life and in relationships with friends and lovers. Movie review pages Maganda Ba?, Goldwin Reviews, and JJ’s MovieMania praised the film’s subtle yet powerful storytelling that was most evident with the astounding chemistry between Betty (Charo) and Ryan (Dingdong) - neighbors who form an unlikely connection at the lowest points in their lives.
“‘Only We Know’ doesn’t scream to be remembered, it whispers its way into your chest and stays there. Isa ‘tong pelikula na hindi mo lang pinapanood, nararamdaman mo siya buong-buo. Kung may panahon ka para sa isang love story na hindi kailangang sumigaw para masaktan ka, para kiligin ka, para iparamdam na buhay ka, this is it. This is the rare, brewed kind of love you didn’t know you were craving,” shared Maganda Ba? on its social media pages. For Goldwin Reviews, “Their relationship develops organically. The pacing is reminiscent of a season that gradually changes over time. Not too extreme or loud, the scenes are subtle, calm, and grounded. With understated elegance, the cinematography enhances its tranquility.” JJ’s MovieMania shared a similar thought in their social media post, stating, “Together, they create something deeply human: two people who find peace in each other’s silence. It captures the beauty of small, intimate moments and uses silence as a powerful tool to express unspoken feelings. The film moves like a slow afternoon, allowing the characters to gently unfold in front of us. There’s no urgency, no dramatic twists, just the honest beauty of companionship growing in unlikely places.” Avid moviegoer Mel Lozano also shared on an online platform for cinephiles about how the movie moved her deeply, saying, “There’s a quiet intimacy to ‘Only We Know’ that I found deeply affecting. No grand gestures, no sweeping set pieces, no overplayed ‘kilig’ moments or self-important monologues. Instead, the film finds beauty in the mundane. ‘Only We Know’ is a tender meditation on loneliness and longing, companionship and connection, and the kind of love that resists definition.”
“Only We Know” is now showing in cinemas across the Philippines and internationally, including Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Guam, the Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Hong Kong and Macau. Charo and Dingdong, together with director Irene Emma Villamor, have been gracing multiple block screenings both locally and internationally to thank viewers for their support. “Only We Know” tells the story of Betty and Ryan, two wounded souls that navigate the type of special relationship they have as they develop an intimate bond with one another.

“MMK” Spotlights Iconic Performances In Limited Series Run
The return of the country’s most beloved drama anthology, “MMK”, as a limited series is not just a celebration of powerful Filipino storytelling, but it has also emerged as a showcase for some of the most unforgettable performances. Week after week on the new iWant, “MMK” has generated buzz for its emotionally gripping stories while sparking conversations about the standout performances delivered by seasoned actors and rising stars. With each episode, the anthology reaffirms its reputation as a platform where actors are given space to stretch their range and shine. In last week’s episode “Make Up”, the debut of “PBB Gen 11” Fourth Big Placer Kai Montinola garnered attention for her heartfelt chemistry with Kyle Echarri, who played content creator Hajie Alejandro. The two portrayed the real-life journey of Team Hanie — Hajie and Lenie Aycardo — and their performance drew positive feedback on social media for its authenticity and grounded performances.
Earlier, Bela Padilla stunned audiences in the two-part special “SIM Card” and “Bintana” as Nadia, an OFW unknowingly caught in a web of human trafficking. Bela’s portrayal of a woman held captive for 48 agonizing days was one of her most gripping to date. Likewise, Iza Calzado reminded everyone why she remains one of the country’s finest actresses with her powerful performance in “Gumamela” where she played Rina, a dedicated public school teacher and resilient stepmother whose love and sacrifices held her family together. Social media also lit up after the two-part dramatization of the Maguad siblings’ tragedy in the much talked-about episodes “Bahay” and “Envelope”. Dimples Romana and Joem Bascon rendered heartfelt portrayals of grieving parents while Criza Taa and Miguel Vergara offered touching performances as the innocent siblings. And Karina Bautista’s chilling take as Jasmine, the adoptive daughter driven by jealousy, left many stunned and disturbed, earning her praise for her intense and spine-chiling peformance. Not to be outdone, Sheena Catacutan of the nation’s girl group BINI made her acting debut by portraying her own life story in the second episode, which chronicled her personal struggles and rise to stardom. The episode also featured the return of Angelica Panganiban in the role of Sheena’s mother figure — her first major television drama appearance since 2020. Moreover, the season premiere featured Romnick Sarmenta’s return as the father of “The Voice USA” season 26 grand champion Sofronio Vasquez in an emotional performance. Joining him is multi-awarded actor Elijah Canlas, who effectively portrayed Sofronio.
And this time, it’s Mutya Orquia’s turn in the spotlight. Best known for her breakout role as Abby in Please Be Careful With My Heart, Mutya portrays a young woman who overcomes abuse and exploitation. She is joined by veteran Ara Mina who plays Auntie Ging. From award-winning veterans rekindling their dramatic chops to new names making a mark, MMK is once again the stage where actors deliver memorable performances and audiences remember. Catch new episodes of MMK every Wednesday at 8:00 pm on iWant with the Director's Cut with Saturday airings on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z and ALLTV at 8:30 pm.

The Bangsamoro community is once again beaming with pride as one of its own, Mad Ramos, earns national recognition after being crowned the very first Ultimate Campus Cutie by Sparkle GMA Artist Center. In a significant show of support, the Bangsamoro Parliament, through the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), paid tribute to Mad — hailing him as a symbol of Cultural Pride, Youth Empowerment, and Positive Representation. Mad’s win is no ordinary feat. Chosen among hundreds of student representatives from campuses and universities across the country, Mad Ramos emerged as the grand winner of Sparkle GMA’s prestigious competition that seeks to spotlight new faces with star potential, intelligence, and charisma.
As a proud Bangsamoro youth, Mad carried with him not just his personal dreams but also the culture, identity, and values of his people. His achievement is a milestone not just for himself and his family, but for the entire Bangsamoro community, especially for young people who dare to dream beyond the limitations of stereotypes and boundaries. The Ramos family, particularly Mad’s parents — Diamila Disimban-Ramos who hails from Marawi City, Taraka, Masiu, Lumba-Bayabao and Bayang, Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte and Special Geographic Area (SGA) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and Sultan sa Maul H. Acmad M. Ramos, from Marantao and Wato Balindong, Lanao del Sur — expressed deep gratitude to the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, especially Deputy Speaker MP Engr. Baintan Adil-Ampatuan, MNSA, CSEE, for the commendation and acknowledgment given to Mad. The tribute highlights BTA’s continuous commitment to uplifting and celebrating Bangsamoro achievers and youth icons who serve as inspiration to the next generation of leaders, artists, and changemakers. Beyond his recent title, Mad Ramos is also known in youth circles as the “Spiker Prince Of The South”, a nickname he earned from his excellence in sports, particularly volleyball. His discipline, leadership, and strong sense of identity have made him a well-loved figure among his peers. Whether on the court or in front of the camera, Mad remains grounded in his values and driven by his vision to represent his roots with pride.
In the face of his rising popularity, Mad remains anchored in his faith in Allah SWT, and deeply grateful to the support of his family and community. As he embarks on this new chapter as a rising artist under Sparkle GMA Artist Center, he carries with him not only the responsibility of being a public figure, but the hope of becoming a voice for the Bangsamoro youth on the national stage. As mentioned by Deputy Speaker Baintan Adil-Ampatuan, Mads’ lineage is “steeped in leadership, public service, and the rich traditions of the Meranao and Maguindanaon and the wider Bangsamoro identity”. The commendation from the Bangsamoro Parliament is more than an honorary gesture — it is a reminder that Bangsamoro youth can and will rise when given opportunities and support. Mad Ramos’ achievement is not just a personal triumph, but a beacon of what is possible for a generation fueled by dreams, resilience, and cultural pride.
