Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. recently announced RM of 21st century pop icons BTS as the official ambassador for Samsung Art TVs. The appointment is one of RM’s official activities following his highly anticipated return from mandatory military service in Korea. As a globally recognized art connoisseur, RM has made headlines for his deep appreciation of the arts, including visits to leading museums and his private collection of contemporary art work. Now, in his role as Samsung Art TV ambassador, RM will bring his distinctive voice and passion for visual art to Samsung TV users around the world.

GMA Network, the Philippines' leading broadcast media company, welcomed top executives from the Asian Academy of Creative Arts (AACA) during a courtesy visit held at the GMA Network Center last June 18, 2025. Representing the AACA were President Michael McKay and CEO Fiona McKay. The visit highlighted the importance of producing and supporting creative content development in the Asia Pacific region through various training and collaborations. Giving a warm reception from GMA were some of the Network's executives led by Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development, Chief Risk Officer, and Head of Program Support Regie C. Bautista and Senior Vice President and Head for GMA Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso.
They were joined by Vice President and Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications Angela Javier Cruz; Officer-in-Charge and Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy; Vice President for Musical, Variety, Specials, and Alternative Productions for GMA Entertainment Group Gigi Santiago-Lara; and Officer-in-Charge for Program Management Mildred G. Garcia. In a message where she acknowledged AACA's commitment to upholding excellence in the content industry, Bautista said, "Global distinctions such as yours help fuel our passion in continuously creating content that resonate among our viewers and bring pride to our country. We applaud the AACA for recognizing and celebrating the best in our industry, for our shared vision of nurturing the next generation of media leaders and practitioners, and in helping elevate the region's competitiveness in the global market." In 2024, various programs and personalities of GMA Network earned accolades at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. Additionally, Santiago-Lara was appointed Philippine Ambassador to the Asian Academy of Creative Arts for 2025. The AACA honors creative excellence in the content industry. Its annual awards ceremony, the Asian Academy Creative Awards, celebrates the finest among the 17 nations in the region while also fostering strong partnerships with leading broadcast media organizations such as GMA Network.

PUMA Becomes Official Outfitter For UAAP Men’s Basketball Champs UP Fighting Maroons

PUMA has officially entered a multi-year agreement with the University of the Philippines (UP) Men’s Basketball Team. Following the official signing last June 14 at the PUMA Flagship Store at SM North EDSA, the leading global sports brand has become the official outfitter of the UAAP Season 87 Men’s Basketball Champions. The partnership marks a significant milestone for both PUMA and UP, uniting their shared commitment to performance excellence.
“We’re proud to equip the UP Fighting Maroons with elite performance gear. At PUMA, we believe greatness lives within each athlete, and the right support brings it to life.
