The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is headed back to Hollywood, Florida for the finale of the 2025 PFL World Tournament, taking place on August 21, 2025 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The highly anticipated event will feature world championship bouts in the Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight, and Middleweight divisions with winners claiming titles and a share of over $20M (20 million dollars) in prize money. Streaming live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, ESPN+, and DAZN and airing in the Philippines on Setanta Sports, this championship card marks the culmination of months of elite MMA competition, delivering high-stakes action to fans around the globe.
Middleweight Main Event: Fabian Edwards vs. Dalton Rosta
Headlining the event is the Middleweight Tournament Final between Fabian Edwards (15-4) of England and South Florida’s own Dalton “Hercules” Rosta (11-1). Edwards looks to capture his first PFL championship while Rosta aims to defend home turf and stake his claim among the promotion’s elite. With both men known for explosive striking and athleticism, this five-round showdown promises fireworks inside the SmartCage. Co-Main Event: Sullivan Cauley vs. Antonio Carlos Jr.
In the Light Heavyweight Tournament Final, rising grappling specialist Sullivan Cauley (8-1) faces one of the PFL’s most decorated veterans, 2021 champion Antonio Carlos Jr. (18-6). With elite ground games on both sides, fans can expect a high-level chess match on the mat, likely going deep into the scheduled five rounds.
Showcase Bouts Add More Star Power
Two undefeated rising stars headline the main card showcase bouts: Alexei Pregande (6-0) vs. Ethan Goss (12-7) in the Featherweight and Bryce Meredith (7-0) vs. Lazard Dayron (8-0-1) in the Bantamweight. These showcase fights are designed to highlight the PFL’s next wave of talent and will air live on ESPN and DAZN as part of the main card.
Heavyweight Championship Featured on Early Card
Before the main card begins, the Heavyweight World Tournament Champion will be crowned when Moldova’s Alexandr Romanov (19-3, 1 NC) battles Russia’s Oleg Popov (21-2) in a hard-hitting contest between two international powerhouses. The Early Card, airing exclusively on ESPN+ and DAZN, also features four additional showcase bouts:
