The world’s most iconic superhero touched down at Bridgetowne Destination Estate, Robinsons Land Corporation’s (RLC) flagship mixed-use development, as it played host to a two-day fan celebration for DC Studios’ upcoming film Superman. At the center of the festivities stood The Victor, RLC’s towering 60-meter public art installation and an emerging showcase of Filipino pride and creativity. Held last June 18-19, the “Superman: Look Up” fan experience marked the film’s only Southeast Asian tour stop and drew thousands of fans to Bridgetowne. The celebration kicked off with a spectacular drone and projection show, lighting up the skyline with exciting cinematic visuals such as Superman flying through the sky, Krypto the Superdog, and the iconic “S” emblem.
After the light show, the crowd turned their attention to The Victor, which had the Superman logo dramatically illuminating its chest, transforming the towering icon into a striking symbol of strength and heroism. The following day, the Bridgetowne Open Grounds became the stage for the largest human Superman “S” formation in the Philippines — a strong show of unity beneath the steel sculpture’s inspiring raised fist pose. Thousands of avid fans most of them wearing Superman costumes took part in the record-breaking event. The excitement reached its peak when Superman stars David Corenswet (Clark Kent/Superman) and Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane) with director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran made a special appearance to meet their Filipino fans. “Bridgetowne was designed to bring people together through bold ideas and memorable experiences. Welcoming Superman and the team behind the film to The Victor reflects what this estate stands for — a place where global stories find a home and the Filipino spirit takes center stage. It also shows how our destination estates are evolving into spaces where people can work, live, play, and be inspired — all in one community,” said RLC President and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio who joined the activity along with other key officers from RLC including Executive Vice-President and General Manager of Robinsons Malls Faraday Go, Senior Vice President and Robinsons Offices Business Unit General Manager Jericho P. Go, Senior Vice President and RLC Residences Business Unit General Manager John Richard Sotelo, Senior Vice President and Robinsons Hotels and Resorts Business Unit General Manager Barun Jolly, Assistant Vice President for Robinsons Destination Estates Lois Albert Montes, and Assistant Vice President for RLX Logistics Jay Dela Cuadra.
Crafted by Filipino American artist Jefrë, The Victor is fast gaining popularity as a tourist attraction and cultural icon. Standing 60 meters tall and weighing over 300 tons, the sculpture rises at the heart of Bridgetowne and symbolizes the strength, resilience, and aspirations of the Filipino people. Its selection as the backdrop for a global pop culture moment highlights its emergence as both a powerful piece of public art and a landmark of national significance. “Our aspiration for The Victor has always been to reflect the Filipino winning spirit. To see Superman — an international emblem of hope and heroism — land here affirms the global relevance of what we are building at Bridgetowne,” said Aragon-GoBio. Spanning 30 hectares across Pasig and Quezon City, Bridgetowne is a master-planned mixed-use development that integrates office spaces, residential communities, retail hubs, local government buildings, sports facilities, and green open spaces. It embodies Robinsons Land’s vision for destination estates that foster a complete, sustainable, and future-ready lifestyle, and is rapidly emerging as an influential creative and cultural community in Metro Manila.
