Paramount Global Content Distribution has announced that it has licensed the new eight-part historical epic drama KING & CONQUEROR in more than 100 markets globally and more to follow. The series is produced by The Development Partnership, Rabbit Track Pictures, Shepherd Content, RVK Studios and CBS Studios in association with the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation). KING & CONQUEROR has been licensed to major platforms in key markets around the world including Prime Video (United States), HBO Max (Nordics, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong), M-Net (Africa), SBS (Australia), Streamz (Belgium), Be TV (French Belgium), Showcase (Canada), STACKTV (Canada), COSMOTE TV (Greece), Síminn (Iceland), JioHotstar (India), yes (Israel), HOT (Israel) Public Institution Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) (Lithuania), and Sky NZ (New Zealand) and will be launching on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the United Kingdom within the month.
KING & CONQUEROR is the story of a clash that defined the future of a country – and a continent – for a thousand years, the roots of which stretch back decades and extend out through a pair of interconnected family dynasties, struggling for power across two countries and a raging sea. Harold of Wessex and William of Normandy were two men destined to meet at the Battle of Hastings in 1066; two allies with no design on the English throne, who found themselves forced by circumstance and personal obsession into a war for possession of the crown. The series stars James Norton as Harold, Earl of Wessex, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as William, Duke of Normandy, Emily Beecham as Edith Swan-neck and Clémence Poésy as Matilda. “The Four Bad Boys And Me” Hits One Million Views On YouTube, Trends Nationwide On X (Twitter)

ABS-CBN’s first YouTube original movie “The Four Bad Boys And Me” has instantly spread ‘kilig’ in the online world as it has already hit over one million views on the video platform in only four days since its release and it also trended nationwide on X (formerly Twitter). The feel-good movie, which stars Anji Salvacion, Gelo Rivera, Harvey Bautista, Dustine Mayores, and River Joseph, is also currently the number one movie on iWant.
Viewers who have been eagerly anticipating the movie adaptation that is based on blue_maiden’s popular Wattpad that has over 326 million reads, took to social media to praise the film for encapsulating what high school life is all about – puppy love, messy drama, cliques, and overcoming insecurities. Movie review page Maganda Ba? posted on social media, “‘The Four Bad Boys And Me’ is a celebration of young love, self-acceptance, and discovering your worth. It’s that kind of feel-good flick that reminds us all of our own teenage stories… sweet, awkward, funny, and a little bit magical.” Meanwhile, entertainment blog LionHearTV was all praises for Anji’s first lead role and Gelo’s acting debut, posting, “Anji dives deep into Candice’s character, bringing to life every shy, awkward, and ultimately endearing facet with remarkable sincerity. Nine New Gen Artists Sign With StarPop, To Shine As New Voices Of The Generation

ABS-CBN Music officially welcomed nine up-and-coming singers who will serve as the voice of the new gen through the “StarPop Ink Drop 2025” contract signing event recently held at the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater. Annrain, Bryan Chong, Drei Sugay, Enzo Almario, Janah Zaplan, JEL REY, Justin Mclaire, Kanishia Santos, and Misha De Leon inked their respective recording contracts with StarPop, the launch pad for fresh, fearless, and inspiring voices in the Philippine music scene.
StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos shared that ABS-CBN Music’s vision for their newly signed acts goes beyond the ability to showcase their artistry. They want their artists to convey authenticity in their storytelling and allow their music to reach a broader audience. Rox said, “Ang major wish ng label is makilala sila kung sino sila as an artist, yung authenticity nila bilang artist. Gusto ko ma-establish yun. Fall Into Fantasy: REP’s Alice In Wonderland Brings Whimsy To Life For Young Audiences

Get ready for a fantastical adventure as Repertory Philippines (REP) presents its latest mind-bending spectacle for all theater enthusiasts: a brand new musical version of Lewis Carroll’s timeless classic Alice in Wonderland. This imaginative Repertory Theater for Young Audiences (RTYA) production promises a tuneful, over-the-top entertaining experience for the entire family, which is running on August 23-December 14, 2025 at the REP Eastwood Theater. Adapted for the stage with music and lyrics by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman and directed by RTYA Creative Director Joy Virata and Cara Barredo, this new take on the beloved story is going to whisk audiences down the rabbit hole into a land filled with zany characters, a mad tea party, flamingo croquet, and tap-dancing playing cards. This spectacular showcase brings together all the colorful characters from Carroll’s cherished books, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass: the ever-curious Alice, the eccentric Mad Hatter, the frantic White Rabbit, the bumbling Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the clever Caterpillar, the melancholic Mock Turtle, the mysterious Cheshire Cat, and of course the domineering Queen of Hearts.
A stellar ensemble of actors has been cast to bring these iconic characters to life. The role of Alice will be shared by Reese De La Vega Iso, Justine Narciso, and Cheska Quimno. The Queen will be played by Cara Barredo, Pinky Marquez, and Mayen Bustamante-Cadd. The musical’s Mad Hatter are Hans Eckstein and Gerhard Krysstopher, while The White Rabbit will be portrayed by Steven Hotchkiss and Gabo Tiongson. Joining them are Vino Mabalot and Jay Pangilinan as the Mock Turtle; Stephen Viñas and Sebastian Katigbak as the Cheshire Cat (a role Krysstopher will also perform); Yhuan Gatbunton and Lance Soliman as the Caterpillar; Drew Bustamante and Paul Atienza as the Tweedle Dum; Katie Bradshaw and Ornella Brianna as the Tweedle Dee; Ayam Eckstein and Jay Barrameda as the Doormouse, Kenny Isidoro and Johann Parungao as the March Hare; Karl Navato as the Dodo Bird (alternating with Pangilinan); and Vinz Castillo and Sean Nolasco as the Knave of Hearts. Also filling the stage with fun and laughter are the ensemble composed of Coleen Paz, Jacqui Jacinto, Jiliana Tavares, Julia Panlilio, Lucylle Tan, Monica Tulio, Tanja Santos, Astro, DJ Buban, Deo Dela Cruz, Jae Valencia, VJ Cortel, and Keith Campus.
