Filipino pop-rock band The Juans has been a soundtrack of love, heartbreak and everything in between since 2015. Composed of Carl Guevarra, Chael Adriano, Japs Mendoza and RJ Cruz, the band is celebrating its 10th anniversary with TAWID, a brand-new album that turns emotions into worlds to be explored, released last September 12, 2025. TAWID invites listeners to cross from confusion to clarity, from hoping to healing, and from the weight of pain to something lighter. “TAWID is a companion for anyone at the crossroads. It’s not about reaching the finish line, but about embracing the messy middle — the process of still crossing, still choosing, still feeling,” said the band's leader Carl Guevarra.

The Juans kicked off their anniversary events with TAWID LIVE: The Album Showcase at the SM North EDSA Skydome last August 29 where they treated the fans to an electrifying performance and first listen to the new tracks. The album carries songs that mirror life’s highs, lows and in-betweens, including fan favorites Ngiti, Gusto Kita and Ako Na Lang, as well as new collaborations like Missed Call feat. Rhodessa and latest hit Ano Ba Talaga Tayo? featuring Janine Berdin. The momentum carried on as the album officially dropped on Spotify, YouTube and digital streaming platforms last September 12. On the same day, the band launched their nationwide album tour at Glorietta, Makati, giving fans across the country a chance to experience the songs live. From October to December 2025, The Juans will continue to bring TAWID closer to Juanistas nationwide with mall shows, live gigs and fan engagements.

With a decade of music behind them and a new era ahead, The Juans are ready to cross new borders — creatively and emotionally. Carl says, “We’ve always believed that there’s a The Juans song for every season you go through. TAWID is proof of that. Wherever you are in your journey, we hope this album feels like a friend walking with you.”

In 2024, CreaZion Studios brought the acclaimed body-horror film The Substance, written and directed by Coralie Fargeat, to Philippine cinemas. Now, the creative powerhouse is delivering yet another world-class experience to local audiences with No Other Choice, the latest work from celebrated director Park Chan-wook [Oldboy (2003), The Handmaiden (2016)].

Set to open in Philippine cinemas on October 29, 2025, South Korea's official entry to the 98th Academy Awards (Oscars) is led by actors Lee Byung-hun (Squid Game) and Son Ye-jin (Crash Landing On You). As of this writing, the film holds a 100% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has been praised as one of Park’s most gripping dramas. It’s about a desperate struggle for survival that resonates deeply with audiences worldwide. The story follows Man-su (Lee Byung-hun), a seasoned paper manufacturing specialist with 25 years of experience. Content with his life, he often tells himself, “I’ve got it all.” Happily spending his days with his wife Miri (Son Ye-jin), their two children, and two dogs, his world suddenly collapses when he is laid off.

Reeling from the shock, Man-su vows to secure a new job within three months to support his family. But after more than a year of failed interviews and odd jobs, he faces the devastating risk of losing the home he worked so hard to buy. In a final desperate attempt, he approaches Moon Paper, only to be humiliated by line manager Sun-chul (Park Hee-soon). Convinced of his worth, Man-su makes a fateful decision: ‘If there is no opening for me, I’ll just have to get hired by creating an opening.’“We’re thrilled to bring this highly anticipated film to Filipino audiences. It has been receiving remarkable attention overseas, and as part of our mission, we want to share international stories that resonate strongly with Filipinos,” says CreaZion Studios CEO RJ San Agustin.

JM And Fyang Muse On Their "Ghosting" Experience In Metro's Latest Cover

A year after their “Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11” journey, JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith recalled how they had prepared together for their first digital series “Ghosting” in Metro’s latest digital cover. Fyang told Metro, “Nag-workshop kami kasi first digital series namin. So, siyempre pinaghandaan namin. Ayaw namin na ma-disappoint ang lahat ng mga sumusuporta sa amin.” Fyang told Metro. JM added, “Pinaghandaan namin ‘yung role nang kaming dalawa since gusto namin bigyan ng magandang mapapanood ‘yung fandom namin”, referring to the supportive JMFyang fans.

“Ghosting”, an iWant original series directed by Theodore Boborol, follows the story of Jaja (Fyang), who visits her grandmother’s provincial home where she meets the lingering ghost of Wilberto (JM). As Jaja mends her heart after getting ghosted by her ex, she sees a blooming romance that threads between the line of the living and the dead. JMFyang’s efforts for the show clearly paid off as it is among the most watched series on iWant. The two also candidly shared that their teamwork made their first project more memorable. JM revealed that Fyang’s presence brought ease and lightness to the set. He said, “Magaan si Fyang katrabaho. To the point na para lang kaming normal na nag-uusap — normal na magkausap, parang sa halos araw-araw namin magkasama sa trabaho. Every time na nasa set kami, hindi ko naramdaman na ‘Ay, taping pala ‘to.’ Walang pressure, walang kaba. Kasi, magaan na sa aming dalawa.”

Fyang echoed his thoughts as she shared how talented and generous JM is as an actor. Get to know more about JM and Fyang’s “Ghosting” experience in Metro’s cover story.
