EcoFlow, a leading provider of eco-friendly power solutions, has officially opened its first Southeast Asia offline flagship store in the Philippines. Located at Level 4, Cyberzone, SM North EDSA Annex in Quezon City – the largest mall in the area – the new EcoFlow Philippines Store offers customers a hands-on experience with the brand’s innovative generators, solar panels, and portable power stations. Peak energy demand in the Philippines reached approximately 16.6 GW in 2022, while residential, commercial, and industrial usage totaled nearly 88 TWh. The growing demand for renewable energy solutions made Southeast Asia one of EcoFlow’s key markets.
In the Philippines, portable power stations are increasingly valued not only for outdoor adventures but also as a cost-effective and cleaner backup power source during short outages in typhoon season. However, as this is still a relatively new product category, many consumers are unfamiliar with its benefits. The EcoFlow Philippines Store aims to bridge that gap by providing in-person product demonstrations, expert advice, and tailored energy solutions for local customers. “This opening marks a major milestone in EcoFlow’s Southeast Asia growth. It brings us closer to our local users and allows us to share our store experience across the region to better serve our customers,” said EcoFlow Head of Southeast Asia Henry Liu. Retail Manager Walter-John Ces added, “We will offer live product demos, on-site consultations with energy experts, and professional after-sales services to ensure the best possible experience for our customers.”
SM Supermalls Vice President for Cyberzone Operations and Marketing Patrick Pacla reaffirms, “Cyberzone is proud to be the home of EcoFlow’s first flagship store in Southeast Asia. This partnership strengthens our commitment to bringing innovative and sustainable tech solutions closer to Filipino consumers and supports EcoFlow’s growth across the region.” The EcoFlow Philippines store will showcase a full range of EcoFlow products, including the high-capacity DELTA Series power stations for home backup and RV use, the portable RIVER Series for camping and short trips, and a variety of high-efficiency solar panels and solar generators.

MOVE IT recently signed a United Nations (UN) Statement of Commitment on Road Safety where General Manager Wayne Jacinto spotlighted the company’s two-pronged safety approach, “Driver-Led, Tech-Reinforced”, as the cornerstone of its program during a meeting with UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety Jean Todt and UN Resident Coordinator in the Philippines Arnaud Peral. “The protection we promise riders and passengers is engineered into both the people on the road and the systems that back them,” said Jacinto who detailed an end-to-end regimen — skills assessments, background checks, vehicle evaluations, and continuous upskilling — anchored on MOVE IT’s driver-quality program “Pasado Bago Pasada”.
This is paired with real-time safeguards including Overspeeding Alerts, Fatigue Nudges, and Trip Monitoring, promoting a safety-first culture among its rider-partners. Jacinto added, “Our aim is clear: high professional standards for riders powered by innovative technology.” By joining the UN Statement of Commitment to Improving Road Safety, MOVE IT and other road safety stakeholders pledged to pursue evidence-based safety standards, issuance of quality gear, and promote a safety-first mindset and behavior on the road. The commitment also calls for active support of regulatory measures designed to enhance road safety and protect workers in the transport and delivery sectors.
Jacinto was joined at the event by Grab Philippines Chief Commercial Officer EJ Dela Vega who framed the move within Grab’s longer safety arc. “Road safety was the genesis of our platform more than a decade ago, and that same discipline guides Grab Deliveries today. We back our partners with continuous road-safety training, regular in-app prompts and skills assessments, and routing technologies that help ensure every trip — and every delivery — ends safely,” said Dela Vega. He added that Grab will continue to work with government, peers, and global advocates as a “co-champion” of road safety.

The massive clean-up drive was made possible through the support of various partners including the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office of Bauan with the special participation of Bauan Mayor Wenda Dolor, municipal councilors, and Barangay Aplaya officials. Through these efforts, SM Supermalls reaffirms its commitment to environmental stewardship and its advocacy for a cleaner, greener future for all.
