Cineberde Rewind achieved resounding success last October 4, 2025, drawing students, alumni, and arts enthusiasts to SM City Lipa Cinema 3 for an evening of powerful cinematic reflection. Cineberde Rewind marked a triumphant return to its roots as it once again lit up the big screen at its longtime home before the pandemic, drawing students, alumni, and arts enthusiasts for an evening of powerful cinematic reflection. The sold-out event showcased some of the finest works of AB Communication students from Batches 2022 to 2025, marking the festival’s much-anticipated return to the big screen after a pandemic-induced hiatus.
More than a simple screening, Cineberde Rewind served as a vibrant cultural nexus, affirming the festival's role as a proud Lasallian tradition that champions regional voices and socially relevant storytelling across all media. The program featured a compelling mix of multimedia output, highlighting the breadth of the Communication Department's training: Documentaries and Short Films, Online Discussions, and Radio Dramas (a unique feature showcasing auditory narrative skill). The electric atmosphere in the cinema was a testament to the community's pride in its emerging talent, underscoring the vital connection between the artists and the audience. The successful return of the 2025 edition was made possible by the collaborative efforts of the Communication Department and the Association of Communication Students (ACOMS). Their dedication successfully revived the event, inspiring current students to create, express, and lead with purpose through the arts.
Organized by the Bachelor of Arts in Communication Department, “Cineberde: Ang Naging Kulay Ng Indie Dine” is more than just a cherished tradition — it is the potent embodiment of the Lipa Lasallian’s enduring creative spirit. The festival stands as a testament to the program’s reputation for creative excellence and meaningful social impact, serving as a vital annual celebration of the proud legacy of De La Salle Lipa’s AB Communication alumni. Many of these alumni have become significant figures in the creative and film industries — living proof of the Lasallian values that continue to shape their craft and character. As the final credits rolled, Cineberde Rewind stood as a potent declaration: Lasallian creativity is not just flourishing; it is actively shaping cultural conversations and setting the standard for compelling, purposeful storytelling in the region.
