MQuest Ventures (MQV) and the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) have officially sealed their partnership to host the 38th Awit Awards, the country’s most prestigious and longest-running award-giving body in the Philippines that honors achievements in Original Pilipino Music (OPM). A Nominees’ Vibe Night was held at Atmosfera, Poblacion, Makati last October 2, 2025 to announce this momentous partnership and reveal the official list of finalists.

The partnership was officially sealed with a handshake among MQV President and CEO Jane Jimenez Basas, PARI President and Awit Awards Organizing Committee Chairperson Atty. Marivic A. Benedicto, and PARI Auditor and Alpha Music Corporation President Alvin F. De Vera. MQV and PARI’s meaningful alliance is rooted in a shared mission — to honor the people and artistry that keep the local music industry thriving. The 38th Awit Awards is powered by Vibe, the Philippines’ ultimate OPM countdown. By ranking the fan-voted Top 10 OPM songs, spotlighting fresh voices, and revisiting timeless classics, Vibe has successfully carved its name as the nation’s only multimedia platform dedicated exclusively to promoting OPM music and artists. Vibe creator and MQuest Ventures executive Peter Edward Dizon shared, “The Awit Awards is the legit stamp of OPM greatness, and through Vibe, we are honored to echo and carry this legacy forward.”

The 38th Awit Awards will be held on November 16, 2025 at the iconic Meralco Theater. Directed by seasoned starmaker Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, this year’s Awit Awards aims to celebrate the nation’s culture and identity and elevate OPM during one of its most dynamic eras yet. It also pays tribute to late OPM artists whose legacy continues to shape the industry’s path. Vibe jocks Ana Ramsey, Maxie, Joao Constancia, Elijah Canlas, Dylan Menor, Ryle Santiago, Paolo Angeles, Kych Minemoto, and Queenay will host the awards night and kick it off with a special performance. Joining them are Vibe’s young Gen Vs who will interview the nominees and bring exclusive behind-the-scenes moments. Expect groundbreaking performances from some of OPM’s finest artists of including Ben&Ben, Over October, Lola Amour, and Dionela. The 38th Awit Awards has five categories: Performance Awards, Genre Recording Awards, Special Recording Awards, Technical Achievement Awards, and the coveted Grand Awards.
